[It's the latter half of the month, which means at some point the prophecy post is going up.

So, people might be expecting something else when the video opens up to Caesar, who's sitting among a number of boxes and messing with a few papers before he clears his throat.]

Hello, everyone. For those who don't know me, I'm Caesar Zeppeli. Former florist, current staff at the Vogue Theatre, and now, apparently, also currently a seer. Because the universe has decided I don't have enough going on already. So here we are, I guess.

[Here we are, indeed. He shrugs.]

Anyway, with that bit of context established and out of the way, let's get to the actual point of the post. So here's what we're working with this month--August got the Empress, upright, which-- [Give him a second, he needs to consult his notes. There's a mutter in Italian that vaguely translates to "all this time and you'd think I'd know a bit more about tarot by now".] Okay, he said it's a weird one to get for June, but... Nurturing, supportive, sometimes creativity, sometimes being generous-- a very caring sort of card, basically. As for what else.... a rainbow, much less of a surprise, given next month; feeling really tall, and... this: "That which can give life or take it away, run cool, run clear, run deep, and wash away what has been befouled. Yes, willingly or not, the water will cleanse all."

... So that's what we have. I can't really make heads or tails of any of it, personally.

WHAT: A new arrival complains about a weird development in his life.

[ The video opens with a shot of a certain sparse as fuck tiny basement apartment, before the phone's owner adjusts the available options, switching from the rear camera to its front-facing counterpart. The user posting under the name 'empyrean' turns out to be a young man in his mid-to-late twenties with a pretty face, long golden yellow hair, and oddly distinctive red eyes. He hasn't yet realized they're no longer brown. ]

Is this thing on? Yes, okay. Ahem.

[ At first he's only muttering to himself, but as soon as he verifies the recording is live, he begins properly. ]

I've been doing some reading. It seems this app appears on someone's phone shortly before strange things begin to occur? I'll admit I hardly understand half of what you people are talking about; it all seems too strange to be true. But, considering I've just had my own supernatural encounter, I'm not in any place to judge.

[ Kaveh reverses the camera again, this time revealing a small green plant-like creature perched contently on his knee. It's a Budew, but he doesn't know that. ]

Can any of you explain how my roommate's plush toy just came to life? I'm not really sure what I should do about this.

Knowing him, he'll probably blame this on me somehow.

WHAT: Someone's been brought back into the fold (and immediately got her stupid "hat" back).
WARNINGS: Some language.

[It's the middle of the afternoon and Katida is opening her phone's apps menu, intending to boot up one of the games she has on the device, but then she pauses when she finds something unfamiliar. Her phone's periodically automatically added some simple games and other things over time with its updates, which is a bit of an annoyance, but she's since accepted that as just a thing that happens. So, she doesn't think a whole lot of the appearance of yet another new app, and simply goes to open it up and see what its whole deal is so she can decide if it's something she'd want to use or ignore or whatever.

At first, it looks to her like it's a social networking app with some kind of fantasy roleplay bent, a thought that strikes her as oddly familiar, like she's seen something similar sometime before. Continued browsing, going from newer posts to older ones but only glancing over them, eventually brings her attention to something odd: she's apparently been on here before. Or, at least it's someone using her usual go-to username that also sounds like her and mostly resembles her, and the post in question is their freaking out over a dragon head that's appeared on top of her head like some kind of weird living hat that she can't take off.

"Fucking 'new unusual body parts,' they'd said. God, please just end me now."

Seeing that post—and then seeing one of the responses it received confirming that it was in fact her—brings back some memories that had somehow been completely lost. The nigh-unberable headache she'd suffered that day. The time that the city was overrun by dinosaurs. The magic she'd somehow come to possess, which despite memories of it coming back to her, the magic itself now eludes her. The weird purple bird that had practically forced its way into her life one day, now nowhere to be found. Some vague other memories that aren't even hers, but were thought to belong to someone she'd been in a past life.

She stares at the phone's screen as she processes at all, and then she starts feeling a new headache coming on, growing in intensity quickly enough that there's no denying what's about to happen next.

Mother fuck.]

[Several minutes later, she goes to start the camera for making a new video post. Any current students or faculty at Kaisou High might recognize her as a student from this year's senior class, the short and quiet brown-haired girl with the blue-gray eyes who tends to keep to herself, except she's not so brown-haired or blue-eyed anymore; her hair and eyes have already changed to white and pink respectively, and the weird pink dragon head is once again sitting on top of her head. She stares into the phone's camera, looking a bit less than amused. The dragon head stares into the camera too, buts its red-eyed gaze is something a bit more vacant.]

Well, I guess this is happening again. Or I guess it's more like it never stopped happening and I just wasn't able to see it for awhile. Whichever. Can someone give me a quick and dirty rundown on like...the past eight months or so? Just the important stuff, I don't need to know everything. [She can go actively reading through old posts and piece things together that way if she has to, but it'll probably be quicker to have someone get her up to speed.]

[The video comes on with the camera aimed at a teenage girl who hasn't been seen on the network before now, but she might still be familiar to some people; she has straight brown hair and eyes that at first glance look like they could be either a somewhat-light blue or just gray—at least for now, for all anyone else knows those could wind up changing later—and she's currently resting her head on her free hand, casually just staring just below the camera, into the phone screen itself. What can be seen of the room behind her is kind of a mess; she hasn't cleaned it recently.]

So I guess the update that I finally let this thing do last night picked this app up? Took a look through some of the stuff that's already on here to see what it's about and wow. Wow, okay, I wasn't expecting it to be, just, some weird fantasy forum. [Are her interests that obvious that she's having this sort of stuff just thrown her way, now? That's kind of uncomfortable.] I have no idea what to even say to this.

Also can't find it in the apps list for me to uninstall, and the rest of the internet seems content to pretend it doesn't exist, so, that's fun too.
