WHO: Katida alone initially, then on the network later.
WHERE: The initial bit is Kat at home alone, but after that it's on the network.
WHEN: Monday, May 2nd, morning/afternoon.
WHAT: Kat has a really bad headache. The absolute worst, you have no idea.
WARNINGS: Mild body horror; if you know the opening cutscenes in DMFD, you know what to expect. Also gonna be some language.

[Katida Rhydderch's morning started off a bit less-plasantly than normal, and that's putting it lightly.
She first woke with a particularly nasty headache and looked so miserable that her mother insisted on her going back to bed, telling her that the school would be called and informed that she was being kept home. So, back to bed she went.
A few hours later, after her parents and cousin were all out of the house for their own respective reasons, she woke again with the pain feeling even worse than before. Figuring that trying to get any more sleep than this was a lost cause, she rolled out of bed and meandered over to her dresser to throw something on. Glancing into the mirror that sat on top of it, she glared at her reflection, with its white hair and bright pink eyes; though she was accustomed to it by now, she wasn't sure if she would get fully-used to no longer looking the way she did before.
Glancing back down and beginning to step back so there would be room to open the drawer she wanted to get into, a sudden extreme spike of pain instead sent her stumbling back, almost far enough to fall back onto her bed. When she looked back up at the mirror again, that's when she saw it happen: with little more warning than the pain itself, something—something, but she had no idea what—sprang forth from her head with yet another spike of intense pain. It was a pink thing with red eyes and a number of tendrils extending from it, all twisting and writing in every possible direction as the entire thing was trying to take shape, and no amount of clawing at her own head with her hands would get it to stop.
Had any of her family been there at home with her, the screams would have had them barrelling into her room in an instant. Had any of her neighbors been at their own homes, those same screams probably would have prompted them to call 911.
When the pain finally began to lessen and she dared to look once again, the thing that sat atop her head—and was physically attached to her head, as best as she could tell—looked like some sort of weird dragon hat, except it also looked alive, and it somehow struck her as incredibly familiar as well. After staring at her reflection in a daze for several moments, feeling as though she's somehow gone through this before and trying to figure out why she felt that way, it seemed to finally hit her what exactly she was looking at and she screamed again, but this time it was less out of pain and more out of everything else.]

It's on video, but the camera this time is just uncomfortably close to Kat's face, showing practically nothing else at first, and it's clear that she had been in tears but the reason for those tears isn't immediately apparent. Her owl can be heard in the background, making various concerned noises.]
What the fuck. What the fuck what the absolute fuck. [The camera's shaking a bit; she can't keep her hands still, and it's a surprise she hasn't dropped her phone.] I've been expecting actual bullshit ever since that one post, but what am I supposed to do about this?! [She then moves the phone up to point the camera above her face, and the network is now treated to the view of a pink draconic-looking thing with red eyes, which recoils (as much as it's able to given its physical attachment to her) when the phone is stuck into its face.
If any students or faculty at Kaisou High were wondering why she was absent today, well, now they know.
She moves her hands back down after a moment, pointing the camera to her own face again, but this time not as ridiculously close as before. It can be seen now that her hair, which had previously changed to all-white, now has bits of the same pink in it—which any particularly-astute observers may realize is also the same color that her eyes had previously changed to.]
Fucking 'new unusual body parts,' they'd said. [With that, she just. Loudly puts her phone down on a table or something, leaving it pointed at the ceiling. A loud flop can heard moments later as she throws herself onto her bed.] God, please just end me now.
