Kaisou (回想): A modern AU panfandom sandbox RP

WHERE: The Network
WHEN: Mid-March
WHAT: Rose has a conundrum!
WARNINGS: None so far.

[As the camera turns on, Rose frowns. She doesn't particularly like doing this. She doesn't like opening up to others, be them friends or strangers. Would that she could, she would just compartmentalize everything like back home.]

[Unfortunately, that isn't working as well this time. It turns out that, without the world being in constant danger, her normal coping mechanisms aren't working. And thus, here she is.]

Hello. I don't do this often, but I have something of a philosophical quandary, and I was wondering if the fine users of this app could help.

[Is she being genuine? Sarcastic? Who can tell. Whichever it is, she looks...sad.]

How do you know if you've made the right choices? Suppose--and this is just hypothetically--there's another you out there. Another you that made different decisions. And if, because you made those different decisions, you never met people you became close to, but that also means that fewer people got hurt.

[She's beginning to look noticeably upset. Had it just been the visions, she reasons, she would be fine. But also dealing with the fae and that terrible memory--it's a lot.]

Forgive me. It's a silly question, isn't it?
