Warnings: where to even start. the series as a whole depicts (and Jon will likely mention in his narration) incest, abuse, rape, underage sex, murder, physical and sexual violence, gore and mutilation, fire, death by fire, harm to children, slavery, torture, war crimes, classism, sexism, homophobia, grooming, manipulative relationships, and much more that I'm almost certainly forgetting at the moment. Jon Snow is one of the lighter characters (at least in terms of his morals), and his chapters feature (besides what's already been mentioned) animal death, harm to animals, emotional neglect from a caretaker (thanks Catelyn), public execution, consensual sex where Jon himself is sixteen, zombie horror, and major character death by the end of A Dance with Dragons.
