Happy August everyone! The summer continues on, but at least we're done with the humidity! It's really such a nuisance. We'd also like to send our condolences to everyone who was also trapped in the Jumanji games. It truly was terrible wasn't it? Fortunately, the Black Order has stated that they will be looking into the matter personally. We at Zodiac just hope they are able to compensate everyone for all the emotional and physical turmoil it caused.
[Yeah they're already laying in the ground work to get something out of the Order. ]
In other news, a couple announcements! First this month is the annual Kaisou County Fair! It'll be taking place during the weekends at the fairgrounds! Zodiac has a booth there, so please check us out! It'll be next to the stall selling the fair famous Pickle Cheesecake on a stick! You can't miss it!
Our second announcement is Zodiac has detected some unusual spirit realm readings outside the gate. After investigation, we discovered that 차원의 문, translated in English as "Dungeon Gates", have appeared outside the city. Normally, these types of gates are only found in Korea, so it's rather noteworthy that they appeared here!
What is also noteworthy about them is that one of the "quirks" of these Dungeon Gates is that they have to be cleared out in a week from when they first manifest, or all the monsters within will break out into the city. But don't worry! The Seoul Branch of Zodiac has developed a rating system of their danger system (E, D, and C-ranks being the weakest, and S-rank being the strongest) - and so far all of the gates we've detected haven't gone above a C-rank! So I'm sure as long as you go about it carefully, you'll clear them out with no trouble!
Also, if you happen upon any special crystals from the monsters... Zodiac would be more than happy to pay money for them. They're excellent crafting materials after all!

Happy August everyone! The summer continues on, but at least we're done with the humidity! It's really such a nuisance. We'd also like to send our condolences to everyone who was also trapped in the Jumanji games. It truly was terrible wasn't it? Fortunately, the Black Order has stated that they will be looking into the matter personally. We at Zodiac just hope they are able to compensate everyone for all the emotional and physical turmoil it caused.
[Yeah they're already laying in the ground work to get something out of the Order. ]
In other news, a couple announcements! First this month is the annual Kaisou County Fair! It'll be taking place during the weekends at the fairgrounds! Zodiac has a booth there, so please check us out! It'll be next to the stall selling the fair famous Pickle Cheesecake on a stick! You can't miss it!
Our second announcement is Zodiac has detected some unusual spirit realm readings outside the gate. After investigation, we discovered that 차원의 문, translated in English as "Dungeon Gates", have appeared outside the city. Normally, these types of gates are only found in Korea, so it's rather noteworthy that they appeared here!
What is also noteworthy about them is that one of the "quirks" of these Dungeon Gates is that they have to be cleared out in a week from when they first manifest, or all the monsters within will break out into the city. But don't worry! The Seoul Branch of Zodiac has developed a rating system of their danger system (E, D, and C-ranks being the weakest, and S-rank being the strongest) - and so far all of the gates we've detected haven't gone above a C-rank! So I'm sure as long as you go about it carefully, you'll clear them out with no trouble!
Also, if you happen upon any special crystals from the monsters... Zodiac would be more than happy to pay money for them. They're excellent crafting materials after all!

As of now, Dungeon Gates can be found outside of Kaisou's barrier! They appear as Blue vortexes. Notably, there is a D-Rank one in front of Big Donut, blocking entry. Otherwise, these can be anywhere outside the barrier, and will appear sporadically throughout the month (aka whenever players want to thread one out or handwave it). The gates will disappear about an hour after the boss monster is defeated within the gate.
Please note that there will be no city log this month, with the next event log being posted on the 15th. As such, players are free to make their own posts and mingles regarding city events. If you want more details on what's happening the city this month, it can be found here. ]

[ Ragna's not the only one who stress cooks. he's the one who like, organizes the kitchen and does most of the cooking, but Ghilley's handy around the kitchen and it's coming out in the creation of so many different foods. there's cornbread muffins, some sort of potage, and several sweet baking smells--including a distinct but out of season bit of sugary goodness since a certain dog-man expressed a deep desire for gingerbread simply out of nowhere.
he's mixing savory and sweet and Ragna's gonna kill him for what his spice rack's gonna look like but for right now Ghilley is cooking until his brain stops and that's gonna be. a minute. or two. or three. ]

[ it's a full time job, keeping the seals from absolutely robbing him blind--not that there's much to rob since Ghilley's got a 'PAY IF YOU WANT' sign duct-taped to the front of the table he stole from in the Fortress itself. there's piles and piles of baked goods in both the sugary and bready consistency, enough cornbread to slap your grandma, and at least two crockpots filled with Stuff. you want some chili? well too bad, one of the crockpots has cider in it because something had to go with the fucking gingerbread cookies he also has on offer, but there's a little bit of everything for everyone.

A friend of mine told me it was probably prudent of me to introduce myself on this app that's rudely forced its way onto my phone instead of waiting for the app to forcibly let everyone know of my presence at the beginning of next month. Just to avoid the confusion of 'who is That' and the like.
My name is Arjuna Pandeva. Some of you may recognise my name--or perhaps just my face--from my accomplishments in the world of athletics. Yes, I am the same Arjuna who won a gold medal for my skill with Archery in the Olympics during the last set of games--and I am still training to make a second attempt at it when it comes around again.
While my home is in India, I am someone who strongly believes that travel is important to learn different techniques for my skill--and of course, because I am somewhat forced to constantly learn new skills thanks to a 'Passenger' I have on my person--I have come to understand that Kaisou is a very special place that would make this easy for quite a while.

Upon my arrival, my aforementioned friend brought me to your 'Goodwill' place with the promise that the place could help me learn new skills or acquire interesting things. While I Do Not For A Moment blame her for the following incident that occurred--I do have to ask, why have none of you attempted to fight the man who can hand out curses that can turn you into small animals and instead continue to frequent his shop??
