So, people might be expecting something else when the video opens up to Caesar, who's sitting among a number of boxes and messing with a few papers before he clears his throat.]

Hello, everyone. For those who don't know me, I'm Caesar Zeppeli. Former florist, current staff at the Vogue Theatre, and now, apparently, also currently a seer. Because the universe has decided I don't have enough going on already. So here we are, I guess.

[Here we are, indeed. He shrugs.]

Anyway, with that bit of context established and out of the way, let's get to the actual point of the post. So here's what we're working with this month--August got the Empress, upright, which-- [Give him a second, he needs to consult his notes. There's a mutter in Italian that vaguely translates to "all this time and you'd think I'd know a bit more about tarot by now".] Okay, he said it's a weird one to get for June, but... Nurturing, supportive, sometimes creativity, sometimes being generous-- a very caring sort of card, basically. As for what else.... a rainbow, much less of a surprise, given next month; feeling really tall, and... this: "That which can give life or take it away, run cool, run clear, run deep, and wash away what has been befouled. Yes, willingly or not, the water will cleanse all."

... So that's what we have. I can't really make heads or tails of any of it, personally.

That's my best guess given nurturing, height, ominous statements about water, and a rainbow. Don't suppose we've got an ark handy.

[He's also getting less nervous about people potentially seeing his real form, since so many have already with no consequences. Then, in Italian, he adds,]

So are you from Italy, too?

Great with water stuff, huh? We'll see what the next month brings, then. It'll be good to have more people who can help with whatever happens.

[He swaps over to Italian after that with a smile.]

I was born in America myself, but both of my parents were from Italy, and my siblings and I grew up as close to the culture as our parents could manage. And I think I still have family that lives there.

I'd never been to America before ending up in Kaisou. I'm lucky I suddenly knew English when I came out of that labyrinth thing, or I'd have been in trouble.

Did something happen to August? Or is he just really tired of the prophesying? I can't say I blame him...

[He mulls over the signs given to them. A caring figure...? A rainbow... Feeling really tall-- he can't say he knows what that's like. And some freaky quote about water.]

It sounds as if we'll be dealing with water that has purifying properties. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, though it might sound intimidating. The question is, why is this relevant?

If I could make an extrapolation... based on that clue alone, we should be on alert for signs of corruption. Magical water is never brought up for no reason.

It's less that something's happened and more like he's been busy and stressed. I think I might just handle these posts myself for a while to give him some time to recover.

[He nods, thoughtful.]

Signs of corruption... I'll definitely start keeping an eye out, in that case.

Ah... thanks for doing that, then. August has a lot to deal with.

[Seeing what her memories have revealed to her thus far, Katida's past life was one where the girl she'd been in that life was hated by most, seen as something impure due to her bloodline and the thing that now rests on her head in this life.

She dopesn't expect that whatever's going to happen will happen to her more because of it, but still she goes and comments:] So no going to the beach or getting caught in the rain, got it.

I don't usually go to the beach anyway, so I guess I won't really have to worry about that much.

Ugh, congrats on the shiny new future-seeing powers, I guess? On a scale of liveable to sucky, how bad are they? Like. If you need to lie down in a dark room or whatever if it hits you in work, just go to my office, 'kay? Don't want you collapsing on the floor and making the place untidy.

I mean, rainbows are a given, totes. And hey, maybe the cleansing water will just be a fancy spa and not something actually horrific this time. (I know it won't be, just let a man dream a little).

On that particular scale, I'd give them a solid "mildly annoying," at least. So definitely more on the liveable side of the scale.

At least the rainbow means some part of all this was direct. And hey, maybe we'll get lucky with the part about the water, who knows?
