WHO: All welcome!
WHERE: Kaisou Beach, along the beach shore with the harbor visible in the distance.
WHEN: 12/7
WHAT: Juri Takes A Break
WARNINGS: (May Contain Discussion on Addiction and Breaking Addiction as the thread continues.)
[Juri's lungs burn like coal filled sacks in her chest. Her legs too sore, too soon as her pace begins to slow. A hacking cough escapes her throat muffled in the crook of her elbow forcing Juri to break her run. She stumbles off the concrete path that run along the beachfront and onto the sandy shore itself with a grown. The so-called Genius has neglected her training and knows it. Frustration is writ over her face as she lets out a growl and kicks the sand beneath her feet sending it everywhere and covering her in sand. The vile substance finds purchase everywhere slipping under her tank top and into her windbreaker. An utterly disgusted Juri throws her arms up in defeat before plopping down in the sand underfoot.]
Ugh. Stupid body can't keep up. This is nothing!
[Deep, steady breaths. What did she expect? She'd stopped practicing after... that incident. Stopped attending classes. Fell off the face of the planet. It didn't take everyone long to forget her. Juri wished she could forget herself too. She sighs. In a way, that's how she'd spent the last half a decade. Forgetting herself.]
What a pain.
[Juri fished through her jazz cup patterned wind breaker pockets with growing frustration before taking it off and turning it upside down to dump the pockets. Aside from the small pile of sound that had found it's way in, a small pile of candy wrappers, a lighter, and a smart phone tumbled onto the ground. Juri scrambles to secure most of the wrappers and shove them back into her pockets like the gremlin she is but a single small paper wrapper catches in the wind. First it tumbles along the sandy shore before a second gust catches its and carries it into the air floating peacefully along towards a small group of blubberbeasts further down the shoreline at a pleasant clip. Juri picks up her phone and grumbles to herself. After a moment of deliberation, shifting from one foot to the other and averting her gaze, Juri ties her windbreaker around her waist and pockets her lighter and keys before jogging along after the last bit of litter that managed to escape.]
