“Diablo, Diablo where are you?’ Lord Rimuru?! I’m here! Lord Rimuru!!’ This was the right cave, it had to be the right cave. It's exactly like the one near Tempest City, and that’s where Diablo was teleporting to. ‘My powers always do exactly what I want them to, so they would not have failed me now would they? Three rights, two lefts, another right, then take the second set of stairs to the left and it’ll put me out right near the south entrance to Tempest.’ Diablo started walking towards the first right he needed to take. However as he got to the first tunnel he noticed that it was not an actual right, but an alcove that went nowhere. Stunned, he turned around and realized that he was now standing exactly where he had been two minutes ago when he heard Rimuru’s voice calling for him. “WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!” He didn’t have time for whatever spell this was, Lord Rimuru needed him! Looking around he saw the tunnel that he needed to take again, so he ran for it.
Four hours later he was still trying to break this spell, whatever it was. Everytime he ran towards the exit, he was back where he started. ‘This must be some stupid prank by Guy, he’s the only one who would be so bold as to try and mess with me right now. I WILL get him back for this.’ Diablo sat down on a rock to think for a moment. He needed to clear his head, panicking would get him nowhere and he needed to figure out this trap so he could get to Lord Rimuru and also beat the snot out of Guy. He closed his eyes to think, he isn’t able to teleport his way out, as well as every time he went where he was supposed to go he got sent back to the start. ‘So, let's go the wrong way then? It’s worth a shot at least.’ He faced away from the path he knew, went home, and walked further into the cave. Ten minutes later he hadn’t been turned back yet. ‘Okay so this was the correct choice. Now… if I were that red bastard where would I have put the exit?’ As he asked himself that question, he walked around the next bend in the tunnel and came upon a big blue pond.( A )
When seeing the pond he heard voices coming from the other side, he couldn’t make out what they were saying but it sounded like… happy? laughing voices? Who could possibly be having a good time in a place like this?! He went to investigate.
( B )
In the center of the pond was a spiral staircase that went all the way up to the top of the cave. This seems too good to be true, but what do I have to lose? He climbed the stairs and as he reached the top was surrounded by a glowing light. When he could open his eyes again he was in a city, one like nothing he had ever seen before. ‘What the heck? Where a…’ suddenly a beeping came from his pocket.
