[For a little while now, there have been various birds and bird-like entities standing guard within sight of Jun's apartment window. While he doesn't know anyone personally enough to pick them out, he's pretty sure a couple are probably people he knows. Like Jun, he's a little worried about them being out there all the time without rest. (He's been bad about resting himself.) So he puts together a big tote bag full of water bottles and snacks and brings it outside.]
Hey, birds! [Might as well be direct.] You're not fooling anyone, by the way. I don't know if you ever sleep, but I brought you some water. Oh, and... there's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, turkey and cheese, and a big can of mixed nuts you can share. I wasn't sure what you guys can eat or how many of you are actually people, so... I guessed.
[Yes he's still shouting up into the tree. The thing is that he's invisible to normies, so the only people who will see him and think he's crazy are people who this is relevant to anyway.]
Another thing! I've been on watch duty since yesterday and I'd like to alternate shifts with someone who can watch the hall outside our apartment. I'll even feed you homemade ice cream.
