noblerise: (Try not to feel the cold)
[personal profile] noblerise
WHO: Jusis Albarea, his weird little TBO family, and Class VII
WHERE: Jusis' apartment
WHEN: Sometime after the Alcatraz shenanigans time is a flat circle
WHAT: Well, that was weird and messed up. Time to bond over it while yelling at Jusis.
WARNINGS: There shouldn't be any warnings, but boy if there are any they'll be in the subject of the thread!

[The apartment is a three-bedroom affair with a living room and a kitchen that are only separated by different floor tiling. It's somewhat comfortable for three people to live in, but it's definitely small enough to where more than five people at once feels like a crowd. Despite that, Jusis isn't going to turn away visitors.

That being said... he doesn't expect too many people, so there'll be a food Situation in that he definitely doesn't have enough snacks if there are so many people visiting him. There'll at least be tea and coffee, and tap water.

Jusis has been mostly good about resting. However, he does have moments of being very antsy, so he might try to get up and do something light, like brew a pot of tea.]

WHO: Jekyll Hyde and you!
WHERE: the app
WHEN: 4/25
WHAT: A certain someone's been too busy settling in to spend much time on his phone, but a certain someone else is bored and just noticed an unfamiliar icon on his home screen.
WARNINGS: attempted swearing

[ A nightmare involving familiar-yet-not cobblestone streets, covered in thick London fog, wakes the restless sleeper with an uneasy jolt. He scrubs a hand over his face, heart still pounding in his chest, before roughly dragging those same fingers through his hair, disturbing those sandy-blond locks into more of a wild style.

Perhaps in response to the primal instinct of fight-or-flight triggered by the bad dream, the man who grabs for the smartphone neatly set aside on a nearby bedside table isn't quite the same one who originally set it there.

Edward Hyde—at least, that's what his boring goody two-shoes self has taken to calling him—is awake, and given both the ungodly hour and the unsettling dream that Jekyll—that he—had had, he's not exactly in the mood to go traipsing down the street looking for a convenience store or anything else that might still be open in the middle of the night. Watching mindless internet videos until he falls back asleep seems like a better idea, but once Hyde turns on the screen, an unfamiliar splash of color in the corner catches his eye.

He narrows his eyes, not only with confusion, but for the fact Jekyll has shit reading vision and Hyde refuses to put on his glasses—no matter how much easier that might make things for him. Squinting, he sees that the app is called "Libra", but it's... too colorful to be some kind of academic tool Jekyll might use. The bright, obnoxious colors on the icon turn out to be a horrible forewarning of the eye strain he'll have to endure once he actually opens the app.

The homepage is garishly decorated in primary colors, the navigation divided into big bubbly buttons, clearly designed for the undeveloped mind of a young child. Furthering that impression is the goggle-eyed assortment of animals scattered across the app, all staring at Hyde with a sort of condescending cheerfulness that kind of makes him want to chuck his phone across the room.

Instead, he tries to delete the app. It doesn't work. Immediately out of ideas, Hyde returns to the app to express his annoyance another way. ]

hello????
is this a virus
how do i get rid of it

[ Weirdly, his post shows up under an account named 'henryjekyll', even though he's pretty sure he doesn't remember Jekyll making it. It's entirely possible the memory is there and he just overlooked it, because 99% of what Jekyll does is boring as fuck, but still. This is weird. ]

what the france is this app anyway

[ France? That is... definitely not what he typed. Hyde tries again. ]

[ It's entirely possible, if not highly likely, that he has no idea how many people can see this. ]

The city of Kaisou has always been a hole-in-the-wall kind of town. While prosperous and peaceful, it's usually overlooked by the rest of the country and left to its own devices. Perhaps you were born and raised here, perhaps opportunity brought you here, or perhaps you don't know why you're here at all. Whatever the case may be, all your roads led to Kaisou. It's not bad place to be, all in all, so long as you ignore certain holes in the world.
