The Halloween season is here, and with it comes the blaring alert sound that comes with a new Zodiac post. We hope everyone enjoyed the library excursion! Did you find some new books or learn some new things? Coming across the Great Library really is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so it'd be a shame to anyone who missed out!

Now, as we head into October, we at Zodiac want to advice a word of caution. During this time of year, as we get closer to Halloween and Samhain, activity around the Spirit Vein may increase. It's long believed this is due to a natural thinning of the barrier between our world and the Spirit Realm that happens this time of year. Not only can this cause an increase in supernatural incidents, but it can make ordinary people more capable of spotting the supernatural.

Normally we'd say this shouldn't be anything to worry about, but with the recent unusual activity coming from the Spirit Vein- there are concerns these effects will be magnified. We've already received some reports of tears appearing in the city by our agents. So keep an eye out as you go trick-or-treating or on a hayride! It may be the season of scares, but let's try to avoid any dangerous scares, shall we?

Anyway, I have an announcement for my music class students, or it's bad news really:

I've been informed that due to recent budget issues, the fall music concert next month has been reduced down to one showing. This means there won't be a concert during school hours, and all the grades will be performing together instead of having their own shows.

Unfortunately, this means most of the solo sections had to be cut, though I've manage to save one solo performance per grade level.

Auditions will take place next week. Spots will go to whoever gives the strongest performance that can fit into the program.

Sorry everyone, I'm not a fan of this either. But I look forward to seeing what you bring!

It'd be a pretty big and coordinated prank to pull off if it were one, but I'm afraid it's not. Hi, I'm probably not the best person to explain any of this, but you've probably started noticing a lot of weird stuff happening recently or having strange flashes of memory that don't quite belong to you. Or both, if you're really lucky! Right? This app sort of ties into all that.

The Spirit Vein, or those colorful, magical lights up in the sky, have been more active recently, and to the best of my understanding it may be why people have started remembering past lives of theirs and, in cases like mine, been pulled over here from other worlds entirely. Zodiac's the organization that's decided to take charge of us folks who've gotten caught up in all that. With me so far?

I do have the gift to grow plants at will at home, although it hasn’t been in its usual levels at the moment. Either way, it is very nice to meet everyone in the app.

- was a celtic festival called samhain where people wore costumes to ward off ghosts that would return to the earth for that day
- november 1 became all saint's day to celebrate all the cool guys and gals in the christian religion who did miracles
- church made november 2 all soul's day to celebrate the dead
- samhain 🤝 all soul's day though actually it was more the church maybe trying to replace samhain for its own holiday
- eventually became night before all saint's day and became known as all hallow's eye
- all hallows eve - say that five times fast - you get halloween!
- basically used to be big serious festival about ghosts and warding off evil now its a celebration of all things spooky that go bump in the night and people dress up as all sorts of things
