Two Nights Only - Buy Now
WHO: Sampo, Caelus, Noctis, and Gilgamesh
WHERE: Inside Gil's teapot, mostly.
WHEN: Just after the mid-month zodiac post
WHAT: Sampo having Noct and Caelus come stay over while things in the city aren't so hot. Chaos probably gonna ensue.
WARNINGS: Just general nonsense of four chaos goblins in one house.
[ 'Meet me outside of Poundland' isn't exactly the best sentence to say to ANYONE, and yet it's a sentence Samuel had to use today. Thinking back on it, he really wonders why the owners of this establishment decided on fucking THAT for the name of their store, but.
It did fine for a meeting place--especially given the 'place' he was staying was hidden in plain sight in the shop nextdoor. The shop that, in Undertown, many had wonderings if it was the front of some money laundering group. Which was hilarious.
Sampo can be found waiting--looking enough like "himself" to be recognizable, but with a mix of grey and blue hair instead of his usual ruffled brown.
He'll wiggle his fingers when Caelus and Noct finally approach, before throwing his arms out wide with a bright smile. ]
My friends! You. Uh.
You weren't followed, were you.

No, don’t think so. We doubled back a couple times to be sure. [He’s just going to pop open the back of the car and grab for his laptop bag, somewhere behind one of Caleb’s bags, as Fluvius waddles over to Sampo and squints up at him with deep suspicion.]
“Oshawott?”
He’s a friend, Fluvius.
no subject
It takes him a little longer to get out and turn to meet Sam, smiling a little.]
Yeah, we're--Sampo?!
[What. W h a t.]

[ the way Vergil talks about Poundland points towards it being some sort of horrific eldritch location, and whether Gil buys into that or not is up for debate by the scholars of the age.
unfortunately for Noct and Caleb, they're the ones that're here--and the golden man coming to join Sam after speaking with his housemate looks curious at the sudden new version of the resident car salesman's name. ]
How many aliases could one man truly need?
no subject
Ready to make a joke that he didn't realise Noctis was a father, but.
Now he's just staring. At Caleb. With a quiet look of dawning.... something on his face. Horror? Amazement? Excitement? Confusion? It's a mix of like, six. ]
Trailblazer? [ he squeaks out with a startled voice, pointing at Caleb with a quiet glance at gil. come on nows not the time man ]
You. You're Caleb. Haha. Haha, oh wow now this is--
This is fine. It's so great. Old friend and Ollllllld friend, huh? Haha. Ahaha. Hehe.
no subject
[Among other things. He’s about to say more when both Caleb and Sam yelp at each other, and his gaze snaps towards both of them in sheer confusion. He and Fluvius tilt their heads at the exact same time, wearing almost identical expressions of what is going on here.]
…is this a past life thing? [How many space train people does he know???]

Caleb finds the least ostentatious bedroom he can find and claims it as his own for the next couple of days, tossing his bag on the bed before digging out his own Switch to charge. After that, he slips out to explore a bit.
And probably touch things he maybe shouldn't, but can anyone blame him?]
no subject
Incidentally, Noctis is no longer at the table downstairs and his laptop is closed, so he's gotta be somewhere around here, right?
The ribbon seal cracks an eye open as Caleb goes exploring around him, then simply...rolls over, as if to keep an eye on him from his pond. Lazy ass just isn't gonna move unless Caleb comes anywhere near the edge of this little island.]
no subject
Huh. Sam didn't mention animals living here.
[He flops down next to the water to watch his Dewott inspect the seal.]
Too bad I don't have any fish...wait, do seals eat fish?
no subject
At the mention of fish, his head pricks upward, and he just rolls his jelly-tube body over in Caleb’s direction and gives him a long, sad look. Yes. Give him fish. He worked very hard and he deserves fish.]
no subject
I just said I don't have any fish! And I'm not Noct, I don't like fishing. Sorry, buddy.

That costs more than some of your organs are worth, as a warning.
[ he says, cheerfully, leaning on a wall as he watches the raccoon in his natural state of being--rummagin' through stuff ]
no subject
How do you know how much my organs are worth?
[Is he gonna die?]
no subject
[ cheerful. he definitely doesn't have a guy who has a guy who knows the going rate for organs on the various colored markets. ]

putting your face into the side of a particularly large, white, fluffy maine coone.
Mimi, Nyannyan's cat, was staying over while the General stayed with his friends--and now Sampo's going to captialize on it.
Sitting on the floor, where mimi is lying on top of one of the fainting couches in the hallway, sampo can be found face-down in a pile of purring fur. ]

He stops and just. He just stares, baffled.]

No way, your guy’s got a Maine Coon? [Kitty? Kitty big.]
no subject
I wish.
Nah, this guy belongs to a buddy of ours, Jing Yuan. He's ... busy, so Gilly offered t'babysit her.
She's a therapy cat, I'm sure of it.
no subject
She’s cute. [coming close to give Mimi lil headpats.] This Jing Yuan hunkering down with his friends as well?

1. Hanging out in the living room working on his own video game on his laptop. It looks pretty much as done as it’s gonna get without someone playing it, only he’s still tweaking designs of various fish. After a moment, he sighs and saves his work.]
I’m not gonna get the gameplay trailer out this March, am I.
[The trials and tribulations of being an indie game dev in the 2020s.
2. Still in the living room, but now playing video games. Hitmen of History seems to be a particular favorite, and he clearly has a lot of fun doing little parkour runs through Rome and killing people from up above.
Mario Kart, though…]
Hey, how about a race? Winner gets the last slice of pizza.
[3. Flopped over on his belly as a seal, blocking your way. Judging from the noise? He’s napping, and the one thing anyone has learned from dealing with Noctis is he cannot be awoken from a nap once he really gets going with one. Good luck trying to move 220 pounds of sleeping ribbon seal!]
iii.
Who cut you a permit for this behavior, sir?
[ he retains the kingly right of nudging Noctis' adorable belly with a foot. push. push push. ]
no subject
He is napping here.]
no subject
Gil is gonna continue to lightly pump on Noct's belly with his foot for a bit. ]
Oi. Oi. Don't ignore me, mongrel.
