Video UN: linda_bruja
WHO: Luz and the network
WHERE: Around the city
WHEN: 5/1
WHAT: Currently trying not to freak out!
WARNINGS: Energetic teenager?
[The video starts, and there's the girl, sitting cross legged, booklet open as she is still trying to read as much as she can, and then she looks up, a brave smile on despite it not quite reaching her eyes].
Hi, uh, city dwellers! Luz Noceda here, apparently new, uh, tourist that somehow dropped here by mistake! At least, that's what I WOULD think, but now that I have this book and device, inclined to believe I don't just get to skip and jump back home. Heh! Not the first time that's happened!
[Joking helps, because OH BOY is Luz quietly trying to keep it together].
Did everyone get here through a kinda maze? I'm going to guess it wasn't the same, since my getting here was through a place I'd been to before, with some pretty choice memories. RUDE ones too, because I'm kinda already having a bad day, didn't really need the reminder about all the stuff on my mind, thanks! Nosy...labyrinth...thing.
Anyway! Pretty sure I'm lost, and I don't think a random girl asking strangers what the deets are is going to be really appreciated, SOOO I figured, why not go to my trusted friend, the internet! Or intranet, I guess? It seems like this thing is localized, right?
Help?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
WHAT IS GOING ON.]
yOU???????,
[Hold on, there's some fumbling and Hunter switches over to audio. He doesn't want to bother with the effort that typing takes when Luz Noceda is somehow in the city.]
Audio
What are you doing here, human?!
Re: text to audio; un: GoldenGuard
Not good].
H-hunter! You made it out ok! Thank goodness!
[Less panic, at least. Just a little bit].
Also, no idea?! That's what I just said!

What, did Amity tell her about how desperate he had been to get the key?]
Why wouldn't I be?
[He draws in a deep breath, trying to focus here.]
You came through a maze? Did anyone else come with you?

Sheesh, sometimes I hate this place. Kid, how old are you even?
Re: video; un: imahoot
Oh thank goodness Eda, I...wait.
[It started to register what she just asked, something that made no sense for her to do, and then her eyes focused on who she thought this was and oh boy. That subsiding fear went right out the window].
What the Titan is going on?! Why do you have human ears?! And normal eyes?!
What IS this place!

Video; un: ecraig
Nice to meet you, Luz. I'm Elliot Craig, I'm a teacher at a school in town. Sorry you got dragged into all this.
I can try to answer your questions, if you'd like. But I'll admit I don't know everything.
Re: Video; un: ecraig
Mister Craig then? How did I get here? Where IS here? And why am I seeing someone who I definitely know from my own world and someone who I thought I knew but looks completely different and seems not to know who I am?
Video; un: ecraig
Here is Kaisou, it's a city in the United States on Earth. I believe the place you described was the Spirit Realm. A number of people from other worlds have been coming in through there...no one knows why.
[...]
Annnd that last one is a new one to me. Are you sure its someone you know?

video, un: Psystrike
This place really likes bringing human children here, doesn't it?]
You were also in a maze of your own memories? It seems like that is the case for a lot of us here.
Re: video, un: Psystrike
Was she speaking into her head? Wait, did she hear her call her cute]?!
Disregard that! Slip of the...something. But yes, that happened. Was it also big cubes, or something different for you?

It was a laboratory. The one I was raised in.

he'll ask about the labyrinth later, but his priorities are more: ]
Could you show me your surroundings, quickly? It would allow me to find you quicker and get you somewhere safe.
no subject
Oh, sure!
[Luz sends him a pic] *OOC: You can choose where she is right now.**
Hey, can I get your name? I'd like to know who's helping me out so I can thank you later!
Video: UN: BRUNO
[Said so so dryly but:]
Everyone doesn't, just in case it wasn't clear by my tone. Anyway, we're all kinda stuck here.
"Nothing?! Nothing?! Tra la la?!"
[Clearly this is not lost on her, but sarcasm against trauma was a great alternative, so thanks]!
I know. The only Labyrinth I like involves a troll, talking fantasy creatures and a king with tight pants and a cod piece with a great sounding singing voice. The one I was just coming from just had trauma and angst. If I wanted that, I'd have stayed back in the Boiling Isles, where I'm very much not right now.
When did you get stuck here? Is it always like this?
listen hoggle!!
[Sarcasm is the BEST way to deal with all of this trauma, clearly. ]
I...don't know anything about that, sorry? I don't think there are any kings here with tight pants? Or...boiling isles? It's just a city. Apparently in the united states.
I've been here since January, soooo five months! And sometimes it's WORSE!

Are you okay?
Luz, your bi is showing, please put it away
I can safely say mine was pretty darn personal. And offending. What did I ever do to the labyrinth?
That'll be a big no. I'm trying to keep it together, but I have no idea where I am, and where I was before had some pretty rough stuff happening. This is like falling off a cliff with no rope. It just feels like I'm falling with no way of coming back up.
Heehee, Luisa just has that effect on people
Luz's weak spot has always been women/men+ their flex game, and Luisa is the whole package
Haha wait until Luz gets to meet her in person
Luz will hang off her bicep and be squealing
Luz wouldn't be the first to do that haha
Aww! Well, Luz will have to remain ignorant and think she's the first!
Haha whatever makes her happy!
<--never happy (at least not right now), always looking on the bright side!

[The catwoman is super obviously not from Earth, at least.]
Have you spoken to Yuu, yet?
Re: video | un: fashonti
Yeah. It was how I stumbled into the demon realm and got into all sorts of hijinks. You guys even have someone from that world, even if he isn't quite up to date with what I've seen.
Yuu? No, I don't think I met anyone like that yet. Are they important?

[ Have a fellow fourteen-year-old looking... less than enthused, sarcastically confused, but not unfriendly, exactly. He's kinda joking to lighten the mood, too. He gets it. Humor helps. He's been in her position, knows exactly why she's acting how she's acting, smiling but a little frenetic, and it ain't a great feeling. ]

[She didn't mind the needling too much. He looked even about her age too, so of course what she was asking might seem like quite a lot]!

He definitely takes note of a few things before he responds, though: 1. She looks like she's around his own age; 2. with her name and username, he's going out on a limb and assuming she speaks Spanish; 3. that said — bruja is a definite point of interest to him now... He only knows one witch here, but that's one more witch than he knew back home, so, y'know, that plus everything else that's happened here, he doesn't rule out any possibility anymore. He expects the craziest.
Which is very tiring. He's gotten real good at that smile, too, Luz.]Yo. Quiubo, Luz. Camilo Madrigal. Hate to welcome you here, but— welcome, heh. Not an authority on, uh— witchy stuff... Ooor technology stuff. So not sure I can answer a lot of technical questions. But if you ever need food, money, clothes, a place to stay, whatever — me and my family are happy to help, aight?
Re: video; un: undecided
¿Qué lo que? Nice to meet another Spanish person here!
[Actually there were several, which made Luz feel a little less alone. Somewhat].
Good to know! If you don't know about that, maybe you can tell me what the deal is about alternate universe people who are like the ones you know back home?
