I am sure this is nothing new to you. Humans are a rather suspicious species by nature.

When one lacks education, they fear what they do not know, and try to explain it in ways they can understand.

Then, they convince themselves that is the truth.

But the images are right there. The data is there.

You don't even have to have an education - it's there. You can see the planet is round.

Even worse, there are some select few that think that the Moon Landing of 1969 was faked just so that the United States would be the first to do it. They have strongly argued that it was filmed in a NASA facility.

So even photographic and video proof is not enough to convince.

You have images from probes, satellites, even humans from manned explorations. You have children's experiments. It's ... You can see the damned thing is a sphere.

If you have a flat thing in space, it's an asteroid, or a construction project, it's not an entire planet.

I have lived quite a long time. In fact, I have seen when that theory was the prevailing one among Europe, only for it to fall out of favor once more evidence came forward of a globe, as well as the concept of space beyond, where the moon sits.

Then again, many older civilizations had found the existence of planets. It is hard to see what the pattern is aside from spirituality.

If their deity created everything, and 'space' was not part of 'everything', then it does not exist.
