Right. Well, I'm going to assume everyone has seen the giant tower that just appear in the middle of the city. [seriously that thing is so stupid tall, he'd forgotten how tall it was and comparing it to everything in Kaisou is... no.]

That is the Crystal Tower. (And before anyone from Eorzea asks, no I did not try to summon it.)

I will give a more thorough explanation if need be, but the crux of the matter is we are going to need to deal with it in some capacity, and quickly. It is, essentially, both a giant research facility and magic conduit, and trust me when I say we do not want anyone with ill intent to get their hands on it.

With any luck, the security to keep it out of meddling hands is still in place, but I don't wish to count on it. And... there is obviously the fact that it is just there, in broad daylight.

It's a very long story.

The... short version is that it is a product of Allag, an ancient civilization with extremely advanced technology. And that I used said technology with some others' help to, ah, jump between worlds and also back in time.

I'd passed by the Tower earlier. I'm unsure how, or whether it is the Tower from the Source or the First, but it is the very same one.

The 'how' is likely our lovely rift in the Spirit Realm. If I were to guess, I would say the Source's or a copy thereof, if only because it did not come with any traces I could see of the Crystarium.

I am concerned that the Black Order will have interest in it. But I cannot say for sure they will or not. I was informed for a fact, however, that they are interested in Warriors of Light. Because of your connection to the Tower, there's a possibility their sights may be set on you as well.
