intro!
WHO: Caesar and the network! (Also Caesar+Mercedes)
WHERE: Mercie's car for the closed prompt, also the network
WHEN: Early March
WHAT: Caesar and Mercedes just got to town!
WARNINGS: I'll update this if something comes up
shortly after arrival - closed to Mercedes
[It's been one hell of a week. Finding out just what, exactly, had been going on, getting out of there, spending so much time on the road...
... It doesn't feel real, honestly. But it is real, and now he and Mercedes are in a strange town on their own and... their younger siblings aren't here. This is what they're doing for the foreseeable future. They can focus on their goal in the upcoming days, but for now...
Mercedes had gotten out of the car to check something after they'd pulled over, and Caesar... just slumps a bit in the passenger's seat, burying his face in his hands. He'll still be like that when she gets back in.]
un: c-z; video
[There's a blond studying the camera with a faint frown before he sighs and closes his eyes.]
So. Is the app that apparently downloaded itself to my phone as soon as I got within city limits something I should be worried about or was that just complimentary?
[... That's it, that's the whole post, apparently.]

For some reason, she looks... kind of familiar? But he's never seen her before in his life.]
Well... there's that at least. [Sigh.] Moving's stressful enough on its own without something else to be concerned with.

Mhmm! If nothing else, it... is a pretty good way of meeting people or seeing what's going on? [Entirely and completely ignoring the whole "and then I saw supernatural shit" business.]
But welcome to the city! It's pretty much your typical city!

Well, my sister has told me I need to make more friends. [Especially now more than ever, hah.]
I appreciate the welcome. [...] Caesar, by the way.

Friends are good to have around here, especially if you're seeing the odd things going on in the city. Or if you just need some help!
[Oh right, names.]
Suzi, a pleasure! I'm usually at the local, um, I guess people are calling it the "questionable clinic" at this point. But I promise we're on the level, just that people are weird when you help anyone that comes in.

[He's had magic since he was a kid, so!]
Likewise. [Ah, but that description...] The sort of place that doesn't ask questions, then? [... making note of that, for multiple reasons.]

Something like that, yeah. Though... it's come to my attention recently that a lot of the need for that was because of this whole... supernatural business. But there's a few of us that work there and everyone's really nice! [Mostly.]

Good to know. [Come to think of it, though...] Are there any openings, actually? I think that's the sort of place my sister might be interested in working at.
no subject
[Not that she has any sway over this kind of thing.]
I ask because that tends to depend on what's going on, but I can always put in a good word!

[Don't question why she can't go anywhere.]

It might be better to continue letting him assume as much.]
I'll let her know, then. Thank you.

Not a problem~ Always happy to help where I can.
