intro!
WHO: Caesar and the network! (Also Caesar+Mercedes)
WHERE: Mercie's car for the closed prompt, also the network
WHEN: Early March
WHAT: Caesar and Mercedes just got to town!
WARNINGS: I'll update this if something comes up
shortly after arrival - closed to Mercedes
[It's been one hell of a week. Finding out just what, exactly, had been going on, getting out of there, spending so much time on the road...
... It doesn't feel real, honestly. But it is real, and now he and Mercedes are in a strange town on their own and... their younger siblings aren't here. This is what they're doing for the foreseeable future. They can focus on their goal in the upcoming days, but for now...
Mercedes had gotten out of the car to check something after they'd pulled over, and Caesar... just slumps a bit in the passenger's seat, burying his face in his hands. He'll still be like that when she gets back in.]
un: c-z; video
[There's a blond studying the camera with a faint frown before he sighs and closes his eyes.]
So. Is the app that apparently downloaded itself to my phone as soon as I got within city limits something I should be worried about or was that just complimentary?
[... That's it, that's the whole post, apparently.]

Mmm, don't think it's that big of a deal! I've been in the city for a while and it just appeared one day, but nothing bad so far! [MA'AM, YOU ARE LITERALLY KIDNAPPED BY FAE RIGHT NOW.]

For some reason, she looks... kind of familiar? But he's never seen her before in his life.]
Well... there's that at least. [Sigh.] Moving's stressful enough on its own without something else to be concerned with.
no subject
Mhmm! If nothing else, it... is a pretty good way of meeting people or seeing what's going on? [Entirely and completely ignoring the whole "and then I saw supernatural shit" business.]
But welcome to the city! It's pretty much your typical city!
no subject
Well, my sister has told me I need to make more friends. [Especially now more than ever, hah.]
I appreciate the welcome. [...] Caesar, by the way.

It's a virus man. Unfortunately your shit's toast. Not me though my phone is unbrickable by virtue of the fact that it's mine

holy shit why are YOU here
Re: text
[Joseph is typing for quite a while after that, like he is puzzling over exactly what nonsense he wants to prattle off next.]
Welcome to Kaisou I guess. Gets kind of funky around here but nothing too crazy iirc. Unless I'm involved
Let's get down to business. What kind of trouble you want to get into
-> private
right now though it's probably better if i keep my head down instead of getting into trouble
[But, after some consideration...
... he's also going to switch this over to private because he doesn't want Mercedes to potentially see this.]
wouldn't turn down another fight with you though

She gets back to the car, and it's clear what she must do. She goes over to the passenger side and opens to door so she can get a better hugging angle.
She hugs tightly.]

There's a pause before he hugs back just as tightly, burying his face in her shoulder.]

She won't even start speaking just yet, just start humming an old lullaby.]

Keep to basic internet security standards and it might be fine. I've never used my phone less.
[She hates it!]

considering it downloaded itself, i think not trusting it *is* probably the wise thing, yeah
but thank you, i appreciate it. i'll pass the warning along to my sister too since it's also on her phone
