To be completely honest, I have no idea what to expect. This is my first time in a high school in general...

Welcome to the city. Have you ever had to deal with high school before? Or was that...not something they do? Just so I know what level of "welcome to high school" talk I should give you.

I can only speak for myself, but I had a private tutor for a while. I had the option of going to school before but it was... not a good idea, for a while there.

[And the less said about that, the better!]

My last experience with school was an Italian middle school, so I don't really have any particular idea what to expect.
