Hey, everyone. Some of you know me, but I'll introduce myself since we got some new people. I'm Will Solace. I'm taking over making a seer announcement for August this time. Probably next time, too. No, August, I'm not taking no for an answer on that, either. You know exactly what cards I'll play if you protest.

[Don't make him publicly say it this time, August.]

Moving right along, about February... one of us saw blades of grass in a kinda childlike wonder. Another saw a fire, but it was more like a campfire or bonfire. Something warm and positive, you know?

[He thinks for a second.]

August's tarot card was the Lovers reversed. Basically, all the relationship problems you see in romance movies and novels. Lack of communication between partners, lots of arguing, things like that. Oh, terrible choices was one he wanted highlighted, but I think that's almost everyone's everyday.

Lastly, my dream showed me getting attacked in the dark. I couldn't really see if it was dark as in nighttime, or even what attacked me. I just know something will. That said, to clarify, it's not necessarily me, personally, that'll get attacked. It's just that my dreams are always in first person, so it feels like it's me when it might not be.

So, now you know what we know.

If sitting doesn't work, I've found that threatening to call Nox on him or calling him something specific does the trick. I don't normally advocate cruel and unusual punishment, but August seems like he needs it when it's serious. I'm happy to tell you what to call him. I just recommend you use it as a last resort.

Yeah that's not great. If you know anyone strongly associated with plants or earth, you might want to keep a close eye on them next month.

Regarding the messages themselves, it's a little worrying that it seems to trend as 'largely harmless, except you also might get stabbed in a back alley'.

It's both overworking himself and constantly making him the face of the prophecy announcements is taking a toll on him. I mean people will start to associate August making a post as some kind of prophetic bad news and it didn't feel fair to me that he had to shoulder that all by himself. So I'm trying to step up since this is my dad's domain and let August rest and focus on his own life.

Yeah it's like moments of comfort and innocence, but there's problems and danger if you're without light. The tarot card meaning might have more insight compared to what the rest of us got this time.

Aww, it's nice you're doing this for August. He really does deserve a break.

[He considers what WIll has to say. He doesn't normally get too involved in this- seeing the future is a little too far into "magic" for his comfort. He's not good at speculating what it might all mean. ]

Aside from the fire and maybe the grass, the rest sounds...pretty awful. Are you sure there wasn't anything nice? Like, I don't know, kittens and puppies?

I had to scold him into it a little... okay, and technically use some really dramatic threats, but he deserves the break.

I wish. That sounds like a really nice dream, personally. I think the meaning of the tarot card is our best bet for guidance, though. I mean, it sounds like communication and maybe the buddy system will be important next month.

Yeah I don't advertise it normally. It's a pretty invisible power that doesn't always matter so I don't bring it up you know? Sometimes I get bad feelings too and I've learned to heed those though.
