[Judging from the angle of the video, it appears to be taken with a phone on a stand poised on a table, with a good view of Tyra and the sandwiches she's making. A pitch black snake with clearly unnatural shadowy wisps coming off it is curled around her shoulder peeking at the phone.]
So those Zodiac folks decided to install a social network app on my phone, huh? Rather annoying, but there seems to be some interesting folks on there, so hi! Don't mind my making lunch for me and my kid, I'm busy about this time of night getting ready for the next day.
[She spreads mustard on top of the ham and spinach leaves and cheese, then presses a slice of wheat bread on top of that.]
I'm Tyra and I'm an art teacher. If you're a teenager or child going to school around here, you might have me teaching your art class. Maybe you know me already. Likewise if you have children of about that age, they might know me.
I also do art in my spare time. And... I've been studying a little bit of magic. It's how I got Obsidian here. [She pauses to affectionately stroke the shadowy snake.]
It looks like some of you aren't from around here. Myself, I'm a local, have been here since birth. But I've been aware of weird stuff since I was little, so this all is only a mild surprise. Why don't you tell me all about yourselves? Also, I can point out some of my favorite local spots.

[If your character's been going to school for a while, you will likely already know Tyra as your art teacher. If your character is brand new to the school for whatever reason, there's this woman in a pink suit speaking with great passion.]
And now we're going to work with chalk! Most of you think of chalk as something you use on blackboards or the sidewalk or similar, but it has its own interesting texture and look that works on a lot of surfaces like the canvas I just gave out to you all. Just think of something you want to draw and try for it! A tip: start from the middle. It's easier that way, you'll smudge less and get less chalk on yourself. If you want to mix colors on the canvas, use those erasers like this instead of your fingers. [She demonstrates using the eraser to smudge two colors together.]
Okay, as usual if you want help or advice on how to improve, don't be afraid to raise your hand.

She gets too into it, in fact, twirling the chalk in her hand as she leans back to admire her work and contemplate smudges only to snap it in half. Pasqualo pales.]
Oh no... am I going to have to pay for that?
no subject
Don't worry about it, that happens often enough and the halves are still usable. Besides it's not like this was expensive chalk. Just be careful okay?
Anyways that's a nice mouse. I can see that you draw a lot.
no subject
I guess, hehe... [Pasqualo rubs the back of her head like an embarrassed anime character, which is definitely a habit she picked up from watching way too much anime.] I doodle some comics in my spare time. It's not much, but it's a hobby!
no subject
And, yes, I do have enough of a budget for some replacements. I can easily acquire more chalk--
[Suddenly, in Tyra's mind, an impossible concept appears. Just thinking about it hurts, strains her mind, to the point where she can only grasp it faintly.
CREATION.
Tyra clutches her forehead as a brand-new chalk, exactly like the one Pasqualo broke, lands on Pasqualo's desk.]
no subject
[Pasqualo wishes she was anime enough for a giant sweatdrop to start hovering next to her head to adequately convey her discomfort. Even in this remarkably cool version of school, cool enough perhaps even for Ally and Tubsy, she does not want to show any teachers the contents of her notebook. That would be a fast track to get put in the special classes.
Thankfully, she's saved by something much, much weirder happening.]
Whoa! Are you okay, teach? I know first aid! If I can sew someone up from a dreadbear attack I can treat a migraine! Probably! [Pasqualo scrambles up from her seat to support Tyra, making sure she doesn't topple over...
...and then sees the chalk that came out of nowhere.]
Um... were you keeping that hidden up your sleeve like a cool, actual magician, or... [Like a fake magician that does real magic?]
no subject
I'm fine, just a sudden migraine. It's fading now.
[She then looks at Pasqualo's desk.]
I'm going to experiment with a new magic trick. Don't worry, it's just smoke and mirrors.
[She snaps her fingers and a small pile of various art supplies manifests on Pasqualo's desk. The rest of the class ooh and aah at the magic trick.]
Alright experiment successful. Everyone, go back to drawing. Pasqualo, help me bring those back to the storeroom. We can talk about stuff you missed as a transfer student.
no subject
Sooooo.
Magic, huh?
Wow, it sounds kinda stupid putting it like that. [She giggles.]
no subject
But you don't have to worry about that, my headache is fading. Let's talk about your deal. You were able to see my magic for what it was and you transferred in very recently.
no subject
[Pasqualo had helped her out of her Labyrinth, and there were hieroglyphics a-plenty in there.]
Yessssssss. You can say I... transferred from very far away.
[She pauses.]
That is to say I got isekai'd here.

Though apparently I used magic to send it and then the receiver used magic to send their response back giving the clear for me... then I teleported right over there. That's where the memory ends.
Unless Tabia has teleportation magic in her Egypt, I don't think it was connected. But the letter I wrote used the same kind of wording she uses, so it's possible that similarity triggered the memory.
And, ah, so my suspicion of you being an otherworlder was right. But that doesn't change anything; you're still my student while you're here.
no subject
Seriously, though, are you okay? Doing all that seemed like it took a lot out of you.

I can't say I was expecting this... But it's nice to see you on here.
[Kakyoin pauses, considering what else to say.]
I've only just been aware of odd happenings since early January. It's... certainly been an experience.
[About when his hair went from black to bright red.]
... Obsidian's lovely, by the way.
Re: un: hierophantcherry; video
Ah, so at least one of my students were on this! Oh, wait, does your hair change back then have anything to do with that? Still think it looks good on you. Anyways, seems like I'm slightly later to this particular party than you, at least. Oh, and yes, Obsidian is lovely!
[The snake seems to be... preening at the praise? Somehow you get that impression.]

The scribe of the great house of Thoth, Tabia, to the teacher Tyra. I ask all of the gods to bring you joy, prosperity, and good health throughout a long lifetime. I am duly impressed by the wisdom and power you have demonstrated. There are two questions I must ask of you today.
For the first question, I am curious about the teaching you describe. If you are a teacher of art, then there must be other types of teachers as well. Would you know of someone I can speak to about continuing my studies as a scribe? While my circumstances may be extreme, if it is possible for me to resume my education, I would be happy to do so.
For the second question, I confess a certain level of uneasiness about the power you possess. Snakes are formidable and quite dangerous; are you certain you have taken all steps to ward both yourselves and others from this power? Even a simple glyph of a snake bears danger if the proper steps are not taken to rob it of its power.
To be sent to the address of Tyra, teacher of art and wielder of magic.
text
A sudden flash of memory. Writing a letter on papyrus with very similar kind of wording, to be sent to the address of Amense, artist and wielder of magic, requesting a visit. The man had made it very strongly clear that he did not appreciate her just teleporting in unannounced, so she sent him those letters beforehand.
A brief spell later, the letter disappeared, to land where Amense kept his mail. It didn't take long for the return letter to appear, saying that he had just prepared for her visit. With that, she vanished, teleporting into his home.
...She would have to process this later.]
And I ask that all of the gods bless you with a happy and healthy life and all the knowledge you might want to know.
[Tyra's gone through a number of viewpoints to get to her current viewpoint of 'all gods are true, or at least facets of the truth'.]
Most people when using networks like this use a more conversational tone instead of writing as if they were sending a letter, though I do find your message quite charming. Curiously, it seems to have triggered a memory I am fairly certain I didn't have before, of writing a letter with similar wordings. I'll have to check with the others on this network if strange memories are a common thing.
But I digress! You will probably be interested in going to school, where many things are taught, including reading and writing, math, science which is the knowledge of the workings of the world, history, and so on. Generally all children are expected to go to school. My very own child is attending the same school I teach art at.
As for your concerns, rest assured that this snake has been quite thoroughly tamed and rendered harmless, unless I order it to bite someone. Which I've only had to do twice in my whole life, both times to someone who attempted to harm me and my loved ones.
no subject
Thank you for your kind and swift response! I suppose it is no surprise that my own sensibilities would clash with those of this place. Perhaps the reason that the tone of writing in this age is different from my own is because messages can be sent and received so quickly? You'll forgive me if I continue to write in a way that is suitable to me.
I would leap at the opportunity to be educated in the ways of this country. I have seen with my own eyes that while I may be somewhat learned in my homeland, in America I am no more than a child. I must learn more of this land's customs, history, wisdom, and gods if I am to prosper here.
