[There were plenty of first date options to choose from. Dinner. A movie. Theme parks. Escape rooms. Hiking. Katsuki, however, had decided that a good first date plan was signing up for a quest together.

Finding and destroying some wonky love potions definitely sounded doable for them!

They were sneaking around the warehouse district now and had already had a couple close calls. But now Katsuki is almost certain they're about to be caught, backed into a corner with nowhere to run. And a guard coming closer and closer. They call out and Katsuki starts readying himself for a fight...]

Li'l Pet Shop of Horrors (Locked to Luz):

[When Katsuki found that he would be doing this quest with Luz, it seemed like a good opportunity to maybe discuss the whole... yelling thing from last month. But he figured the quest should come first.

Unfortunately shit hit the fan from the moment they walked through the door. From failing to intimidate a criminal to the animals going nuts. Katsuki was ready to just fight the responsible party when the 'evidence' was found.

A little chaos and confusion and some magic shenanigans later and Katsuki and Luz were now on the run down the street as a pair of cute, fuzzy animals. Katsuki wasn't very pleased to be a fluffy orange cat but at least they could still communicate with each other even if no ome else could understand them?]

[Katsuki goes in to buy Yoosung's new plush bear, bringing it out in a little plastic shopping bag to keep it safe on the walk back. Charm can fit inside with him if Yoosung chooses.]

Do you want to grab takeout to bring back home or eat out somewhere?

[Yoosung adds Charm to the bag with great care, beaming at Katsuki afterward. His heart feels so full right now. He takes Katsuki's free hand again to hold.]

Mm, takeout! You promised me snuggling on the couch~

[Yoosung is so full of sunshine. He remembers thinking it was a Lot and kind of draining first thing in the morning the first time he slept over. But he finds it's not bothering him now. Far from it, it's kind of cute.]

Been looking forward to that, huh? I shouldn't be surprised. You were all over me even before we got together. How much more handy are you planning to be now?

[And of course when he thinks Yoosung is cute he has to default to teasing him. Because Yoosung is cutest when he's flustered.]

[He blushes at that but is still smiling.]

Ummm... I guess as much as you'll let me be? I like being close to you! Feels nice.

[He hums, considering.]

I'll let you know if you do something I don't like. But everything so far has been fine.

[An emphatic nod. That makes him feel more confident. Although...]

Does that mean... It feels nice for you too, being close? O-or do you just kinda tolerate it? Mm, I'm thankful either way!

[No hesitation on that one.]

If I was just tolerating you touching me all the time, I wouldn't be dating you. That would be weird. And sad.

What should we get to eat? I think I'm kinda in the mood for pizza...

Pizza sounds good. There's a good place not far from here.

[He leads the way to the pizza place and once they have their food they head back to Yoosung's apartment.]

Got a preference for what kind of movie we should watch?

[At the apartment, Yoosung grabs plates and napkins from the kitchen and puts them on the coffee table where they've got the pizza box.

As usual when they're at Yoosung's place, the cats are joining them. Hana on the back of the couch and Rika peeking into the pizza boxes after she's given Katsuki her standard greeting (a Pay Day coin).]

Romcom? You know I'm good with anything except horror, though-- Hey, missy, behave please and I'll give you half of a slice, okay?

[He directs the latter part of that towards his Meowth, who immediately flops onto her butt on the floor, arms crossed.]

I'm not a big fan of horror anyway. Romcoms are fine.

[His favorite anime is a shojo love triangle series. Of course he's into romcoms. He grabs the remote and searches through the romcom options, picking one out and starting it before grabbing a pizza slice and getting comfortable on the couch.]

[Yoosung suddenly remembers the bag with the bears in it.]

Oh! The bears need to go to their new home!

[He takes the bag up and excitedly hurries down the hall to his bedroom.

Once there, he gently removes each bear from the bag, and with care places them side by side on his bed, among his other stuffed animals, including the long-cat plush that Katsuki had won for him in July.]

There. Now you have even more friends. I'm sorry about all the other bears, but I promise I'll take good care of you and you'll always have each other too.

[He leans forward and gives them both kisses on the tops of their heads, complete with sound effects.]

Mwuah, mwuah~

[Katsuki follows him down the hall, curious, stopping in the doorway to Yoosung's door to watch him. He leans against the door frame, chuckling when Yoosung kisses the bears.]

You're such a sap.

[Yoosung looks back at him, blushing but grinning.]

Ehehe, but you like it~

[He moves off the bed and walks over to Katsuki in the doorway, his hands clasped behind his back.]

And I'm your sap now, right?

Well I misplaced the receipt so I can't return you.

[He ruffles Yoosung's hair, messing it up on purpose just to be a brat.]

Guess I have to keep you.

[Yoosung briefly sticks his tongue out, but when he carefully fixes his hair he's back to smiling.]

Nope, can't get rid of me! You're stuck with me for good~ But at least I wasn't expensive?

[What... What is this metaphor they're on. Is Yoosung calling himself cheap???]

[Unacceptable. Katsuki grabs Yoosung and picks him up in an over the shoulder carry.]

Bullshit. You're priceless. Now come on. We left Rika with the pizza.

[Predictably, Yoosung squeals... And then his wings pop, because he's still trying to get a handle on that. It's a good thing he's lifted so that he doesn't actually knock anything over in his bedroom with his wings. (Even if they're not super big, they're still big enough to cause damage indoors.)

He blushes, embarrassed, and concentrates on folding his wings back into himself again. There goes another shirt though... Thankfully, he does have money for clothes, but it's still frustrating to have his shirts torn apart.]

My poor shirt... Maybe I need to start cutting holes in the backs of my tops...?

[Oh! Sudden wings!]

Do they do that when you're surprised?

[Once Yoosung has his wings under control, Katsuki sits him down.]

Might not be a bad idea. Actually... don't do anything drastic. I might know someone who can help. I'll talk to him later. He had to alter his clothes for something similar.

[But that's not something he'll go into details on. Secrets that aren't his to share.]

I think any sudden emotion? Like surprise... or excitement...

[He admits this with a little embarrassment, probably too honest for his own good.]

Eh?? You know someone else with wings?

[Yoosung wouldn't pry if he knew it was a secret, he wouldn't ask Katsuki to betray the trust of a friend. But he doesn't know yet and he is very curious.]

Huh...

[Okay. So that's his cue to try to make them pop out. But only once Yoosung's shirts aren't getting destroyed.]

Nah. Something else. But it's not my secret to share.

[Yoosung is hoping he'll get better control of them at some point so they don't pop out at inopportune times, but who knows how long that will take?]

Mm. Well, let me know if you talk to them and they're cool with sharing anything.

[He doesn't mind these kind of secrets. Katsuki being loyal to his friends makes him proud, happy to have a boyfriend who's so reliable.

Pulling off the remains of his shirt, he goes to grab a new one from his dresser and slips it on, before returning to Katsuki's side again.

He holds his arms away from his sides, smiling and blushing, like he's expecting Katsuki to pick him up again. Now that he is expecting it, his shirt should be safe.]

[Katsuki watches him for a few beats before snickering, mischief in his eyes.]

You want something? Gonna have to use your words.

[He knows what Yoosung wants. But he's gonna be a gremlin when given the chance.]

[Oh. He's gonna make him say it.

Is it weird that Yoosung kind of gets a kick out of this? Being teased, being flustered and a little embarrassed? It's a bit thrilling...

He still whines some, though, blush deepening.]

Katsukii~ii... It's embarrassing to say it out looooud...

[Katsuki leans closer, expression almost predatory. He knows Yoosung likes when he teases him. And Katsuki likes doing it. He seems embarrassed but not uncomfortable.]
