Apologies that I went absent without warning; my defense took up more of my time than I expected and then I immediately went to visit my family after. And they weren't keen on me having my phone for some reason...

[I don't know, Raha, maybe because you filled them in on what had happened and they knew you would be a worrywart over thing you couldn't control if they let you watch the network like a hawk!!!]

It seems things went alright last month? But given the forecast I thought I'd mention that I made some protection charms while I was gone and a few on the plane back, if anyone would like some. Mostly stealth variety but--

Well! I will officially have my masters at the end of the summer semester. Then onto the PhD, which is... more of the same, really.

[Not that he minds- he is very much in his element in academia.]
