August is here! We at Zodiac hope you guys enjoyed the vacation at the resort last month! We know our staff really enjoyed their day off. Sometimes it's just so refreshing to get away from it all, isn't it? If only more of the realms could be like that. As for you who went on a less restful voyage, we would like to remind you that there were warnings to avoid the ship and sea so Zodiac is not responsible. Being able to hold oneself accountable is a valuable life skill!

Anyway, onto our announcements. First we'd like to introduce a new feature to the Libra app: Side quests! The Side Quest page will display a list of odd jobs that our career opportunity department has heard about. These jobs are open for anyone on the app to take, so it's a great way to earn a little extra cash! Just select the job you want and you'll be sent information on what to do next!

Moving on, we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that our Spirit Vein meteorologists have noticed the energy within Spirit Vein has grown more stable than in previous months. We hope that this means there shouldn't be a new Spirit Gate popping up this month! The bad news is that even with that positive forecast, the seers keep reading signs of strife for many of you in the next upcoming weeks. We're not sure what to make of those predictions, but hopefully it won't amount to much! Perhaps some of you need to keep an eye on your personal lives, or have some unexpected challenge ahead! Whatever the case may be, we hope you all stay happy and healthy.

How many people attend our high school have access to the Zodiac app, though? And I'm afraid I still only know a few people. So I shall have to "campaign" the old fashion way.

Oh...I'm not sure actually. More people can in through the summer so it might be more now? Definitely not the vast majority either way. But yeah, okay, that's a good idea. Let me know if I can help at all, okay?

Oh! Well, first I have to become a part of the student council. I'll have to be voted in. I was reading all about it over the summer. There will be a vote near the beginning of the year, although freshmen don't have quite as much to do as seniors and juniors.

American high schools have such interesting names for student years.

And yeah, they really do, it's SO weird. But then I guess it's a little strange they segregate us by age. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Surely it would be smarter to put us into classes based on skill and understanding? Like I know everything they tried to teach me in chemistry already, but history was way harder because they're running on the assumption that all of us were born in the twentieth century- that part sucks, by the way, prepare for that one.

Well, that's really very typical in schools in multiple countries. But perhaps you can see about taking the advanced courses that are for upperclassmen? AP courses, I believe they are called here? I'm not terribly advanced in any class subject.

I've been going to the college to look in on some of the classes Waver's been teaching. That's been pretty informative! Definitely more on my level than the high school. So I have that at least?

I think it's because I'm pretty behind on things that aren't science- I need some time to catch up through the centuries.

I can help, if you like. Having private tutors and moving around as much as I do allows me to have a broad knowledge of different places.

Yeah, if it's liquid he can drink it like a plant would. He usually likes it just black.

No, no, a cup will be fine. He can use a cup, too. He doesn't need to stand in it.
