UN: Zodiac | August Arrives!
WHO: Everyone!
WHERE: Libra App
WHEN: August 1st
WHAT: Zodiac Network Post
WARNINGS: None!
[The humidity is finally subsiding, though the heat is still very present as the spirit vein shifts into the fire element, brilliant hues of red appearing throughout the vein. Wherever you are, your phone will start to ring and vibrate. It doesn’t matter if your phone was off or on mute - it will ring anyway. Checking the phone, you'll see the Libra app has opened itself and will not close until you read and response to a new post from Zodiac.]
Hello! Thank you for using the Libra App!
August is here! We at Zodiac hope you guys enjoyed the vacation at the resort last month! We know our staff really enjoyed their day off. Sometimes it's just so refreshing to get away from it all, isn't it? If only more of the realms could be like that. As for you who went on a less restful voyage, we would like to remind you that there were warnings to avoid the ship and sea so Zodiac is not responsible. Being able to hold oneself accountable is a valuable life skill!
Anyway, onto our announcements. First we'd like to introduce a new feature to the Libra app: Side quests! The Side Quest page will display a list of odd jobs that our career opportunity department has heard about. These jobs are open for anyone on the app to take, so it's a great way to earn a little extra cash! Just select the job you want and you'll be sent information on what to do next!
Moving on, we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that our Spirit Vein meteorologists have noticed the energy within Spirit Vein has grown more stable than in previous months. We hope that this means there shouldn't be a new Spirit Gate popping up this month! The bad news is that even with that positive forecast, the seers keep reading signs of strife for many of you in the next upcoming weeks. We're not sure what to make of those predictions, but hopefully it won't amount to much! Perhaps some of you need to keep an eye on your personal lives, or have some unexpected challenge ahead! Whatever the case may be, we hope you all stay happy and healthy.
That's all from us this for now! Please enjoy the county fair, and we'll leave you with one of our ever popular icebreaker questions!

[Users will have the option to choose their own display names and userpics if they haven't already. If nothing is chosen, the app will use their real name and a quick photo taken of them from their camera's phone. As Zodiac said, there is a new page on the app devoted to the side quests listings. Like always, there'll be no responses from Zodiac.]

It's probably a scam but I dunno what else to do. I think it's just kinda how cities work.
no subject
maybe move the box away from the washing machine
or put it on TOP of the washing machine
[That's thinking with his noodle!]
really? human cities are kind of lame when it comes to this junk
no subject
On top is a good idea though! I just would have to move it before laundry day. She'll probably get really annoyed if it's in her way.
[GOOD THINKING keep your worn out shoebox full of fuckin CASH in a better place.]
its definitely more boring than a treasure room, you got me there. You got any cool treasure in yours?
no subject
who's she?
[Look at them, sharing a braincell to figure this out.]
oh yeah i had all kinds of sick treasure
and ancient human relics
bombs and junk
it was the best treasure room
no subject
[It's unfinished and the floor is concrete, Lloyd, nothing about it is great.]
huh
I mean that is cool but also I don't think I'd like keeping bombs in my room. Its weird enough not having a gunsafe though I'm saving up for one. But hey if that's what you like, go for it!
no subject
that's cool
a gunsafe?
like a safe for guns?
but if you keep them in one of those then you can't look at them
[Weapons should be decor, clearly.]
no subject
But I guess if you already have bombs and stuff hanging around your floor, you're... probably not worried about keeping it safe.
no subject
they're not just tools
weapons are way more than that
they're like
part of you
it's all good they mostly never went off
no subject
[Like an extension of the self...? He definitely doesn't feel that way about, you know, a hunting rifle, but something that took more finesse he could. Something like:]
I could see that for something like swords. Yeah, I kinda get what you mean.
They shouldn't be going off at all!! What about the rest of your stuff??
no subject
they aren't just something you toss away when you're done
a good weapon's like a whole other limb
[He... has strong opinions about weapons, especially swords.]
the rest of my stuff's ok man
most of it's too old to be dangerous so it's fine
