Hello, my name is Antonio and I wanted to share something with you today! I thought that I should show you what I wrote about pirates, so I hope you enjoy it.

In a land far away from Kaisou, there was a pirate named Peter the Great. Nobody knew where he came from, but they all knew that he was somebody nobody should mess with. One day, when he got a treasure map, he knew he had to get it. With his crew, they decided to go to a dangerous cave that told them nobody ever came out alive. Inside, there lived an evil octopus. Everyone told them that the creature lives in the bottom of the ocean and can eat any ship that dares come to the cave.

However, Peter the Great decided he was prepared. He had to get the treasure no matter what! With his crew, they set sail to the dangerous waters.

When he finally got to the cave, they had to be sneaky. They didn’t want the octopus to know they were there and they had to find out where the treasure chest was. As Peter the Great walked into land, he heard a terrifying scream. One of his shipmates saw the octopus slowly come up!

Not knowing what to do, Peter quickly made his way to fight off the evil monster! With his sword, he was ready but then, he saw the octopus crying. Wondering why, he asked why It turns out it was really lonely! The octopus only wanted some friends and he didn’t know why Peter was being so mean to him! Not knowing what to do, Peter asked if he wanted to join the crew.

When the octopus heard that, it was really happy! In return, the octopus showed them where the treasure was. And that’s how Peter the Great and the octopus became friends! And that’s how he became one of the most dangerous pirates in the seas!

I was worried that I might have quickly ended the story but I didn't know how to end it.

[Pause] That and I don't want the octopus to hurt everyone. That wouldn't be nice.

I think it was a good ending! I was actually expecting Peter to fight the octopus, but this was definitely better.

Then what else should I add to the story? If it that good, then I should probably continue it somehow!

Hmm...maybe a story about another adventure that Peter and the octopus go on together? I'm sure there are lots of other treasures for them to discover.

How about you tell me a story about Peter and the octopus?

[Hm...!]

[ She's a bit surprised by that. She's been practicing some creative writing herself, but she hasn't told too many people about that, so the offer is rather unexpected. ]

Really? I mean...sure, I'd love to, if you want me to. I wouldn't want to take over your story, though.

Of course you can! I wouldn't have asked if I didn't!

[Antonio said with a chuckle.]

Do you know how to continue it?

Well, okay. If you're sure.

[ It does sound kind of fun. And, sadly enough, it would probably be the most time she'd spend with her little cousin than she had back home.

She would really need to change that. ]

Hmm...Well, this story was about Peter helping the octopus. So maybe the next one could be about the octopus helping Peter in return?

Helping him in return, huh? Then how about the octopus can help Peter by getting him out of a storm?

[He said before pondering to himself. Trying his best to think about this, he needed to get creative!]

The octopus can help Peter by making sure he can be a shield against a big wave!

Oh! That's a great idea. And if the storm is pretty bad, maybe they'll have to find a new ship? Maybe they can search for one together?

Or maybe they can even find some other friends along the way too!

[Hm...]

Any ideas on who they could find?

[ Luisa thinks for a moment. ] Maybe a mermaid? Would that be too much?

No, I don't think so. But we need to make sure the mermaid is super nice because we don't want her to upset the octopus or the others.

[He gave a small hum.]

But if she does, we need to figure out why!

Hmm...Maybe the mermaid is in some kind of trouble? And she needs something from them in order to help herself, but she doesn't think they would give it to her, so she just tries to take it from them.

I think that would be okay? Maybe she wanted a magical seashell that could make her invisible, so people won't be able to find her!

[That and he wasn't too sure what he could do to go off of that!]

Mermaids are really special creatures!

Yeah, they really are special! And I think that works. I think that'd be enough for a pretty good story.

Then how about you start writing it? And then I'll go off of what you have! I can't wait to see what you written down.

[Can she say no to this little face??]

[ She absolutely cannot. ]

Sure, I can do that. I'll try to think of how to start it and let you know.

That would be great! How are you going to start it off?

Hmm... [ Luisa taps her chin as she thinks. ] Maybe with the storm? Peter and his crew are sailing when the storm hits, and the ocean ends up ruining the ship. So the octopus helps Peter and the others off the ship and find land.

...oh, should we maybe give the octopus a name?

But what can we name it? Because I think it might have to be something that's really cool or something that might make people think he's scary. But he really isn't!

[Hm...]

How about Ben? Or maybe Oliver?

Those are pretty good names! But maybe something related to the sea?

[ It is an octopus, after all. ]
