Like I think demon magic plus being around birds plus demon magic turning me into a bird thing equals fluent bird. Or mostly fluently, I'm not sure if birds just all speak like that or if I'm missing like. Grammar and some shit.

...I could see that. You do have a special connection with birds, so it'd make sense you could talk to them as your power grows.

I'm not sure how exactly. Mirabel made it to be filtered to "possessed people only".

She doesn't know anything about my past or even my powers, she just knows me as a coffee shop employee who likes anime. She shouldn't have reason to suspect me. And from the sound of the conversations she was having, it didn't seem like she was that familiar with some of the respondents.

...At least, not well enough for them to share something personal like that.

I'll be honest--the only person I know who's possessed is apparently Mirabel. I have no idea what possessed people are supposed to be like. Like, what are the signs?
