[A few days after the convention a video post goes out on the network, showing a noticeably tired and stressed Danny. He backs up from the camera quickly after making sure that he'd actually managed to get it to start this time.]

Listen, I think I need help. Does anyone out there know anything about controlling weird powers?

[The tips of his fingers flicker and vanish, and the invisibility slowly begins to spread up his hands. Danny lets out a panicked sound as he notices this, and flails both hands until they become visible again.]

It's been days since this started happening, and I still have barely any control! I fell through my bed last night, and I think I just broke half the dishes in the house trying to set the table.

Well, that's just great.

How do you even stop being afraid of powers? Which I worry about for completely legitimate reasons, given the last few days.

You could start by thinking of all the benefits the powers could have. Being able to phase through objects sounds like a handy way to get around.

It also sounds like an easy way to get stuck and/or freak people out.

I'm sixteen. Of course I have. But not anything that scares people. Just stuff that's a little annoying. Like gluing cards together or swapping the salt and sugar.

Oh, I would never switch the salt and sugar. My father already is bad about mixing up the two as it is.

So... swap them on purpose and you fix that if he always mixes them up.

Oh no, I tried that once.

Somehow he mixed them up for flour.

I'm starting to get the idea that you guys have to get takeout a lot.

A fair amount, I admit. I also do a lot of the cooking.
