[A few days after the convention a video post goes out on the network, showing a noticeably tired and stressed Danny. He backs up from the camera quickly after making sure that he'd actually managed to get it to start this time.]

Listen, I think I need help. Does anyone out there know anything about controlling weird powers?

[The tips of his fingers flicker and vanish, and the invisibility slowly begins to spread up his hands. Danny lets out a panicked sound as he notices this, and flails both hands until they become visible again.]

It's been days since this started happening, and I still have barely any control! I fell through my bed last night, and I think I just broke half the dishes in the house trying to set the table.

But hey, I've got the weird...powers thing happening, too. I can move metal and grow plants, as well. Wish I could give you some tips on controlling it- mostly I've been trying to concentrate on breathing? That...helps.

[How are they supposed to tackle this? It's a little out of his wheelhouse, but he's willing to try.]

Well, we can try to make progress for you, too. Maybe it's a case of finding the right thing that works for you? I'll see if I can find anything in the library.

Well, the first step is usually accepting your powers. They act out more if you're afraid of them.

Of course I'm afraid of them! For all I know one of these times when I disappear I won't come back. Not to mention the whole issue with falling through everything.

Yes, and for all we know this could be the day a meteorite strikes and we go the way of the dinosaurs, but we don't spend all our time worrying about that do we?

Technically that is also a possibility. Do you know how many near misses, astronomically speaking, we get in a year?

You're missing my point. Fearing your powers won't help you control your powers.

How do you even stop being afraid of powers? Which I worry about for completely legitimate reasons, given the last few days.

You could start by thinking of all the benefits the powers could have. Being able to phase through objects sounds like a handy way to get around.

Don't mention it. You can't be the only person that this has happened to. There's gotta be some kind of answer here.

Okay, first of all, relax. A few days is not a lot of time to master anything. It's inconvenient, sure, but first it might be good to look for ways to work around it.

I met someone else who could do invisibility. Kind of. Have you ever heard of anyone else who walked through walls?
