Video; UN: Beekeper
WHO: Julieta Madrigal and you
WHERE: Network
WHEN: Beginning of June
WHAT: One of Julieta's Gacha pulls was animal curse and it can't be controlled when she's emotional. Weeeelll it's been an emotional time for her.
WARNINGS: Swearing in Spanish
[When the video begins, those who have visited Caista will recognize the place where Julieta reigns supreme: the kitchen. That is not what is strange.
No, what is strange is the very beautiful but actually MASSIVE osprey hawk angrily pecking at the phone or attempting to claw it with her talons. The osprey flaps all five feet of her wingspan and screeches and chirps. Those who actually understand animals fluently may come to realize that the hawk is not only speaking in Spanish but, more precisely, swearing in Spanish. The words she uses are enough to make a sailor blush.
What the cherry on this stranger than strange sundae is, is that Julieta is nowhere to be seen as this large bird of prey keeps pecking away at HER phone using HER username.]

A really cool-looking bird, sure, but still. ]
Mamá, what - ? [ She cuts off her question, because she realizes that she isn't really going to understand what Julieta is saying right now. She also doesn't really know where her mother is. ]
Where are you right now? [ Even if she can't understand what Julieta is saying, maybe she could show some of her surroundings so Luisa can figure out where she is.
All the while, she's texting Antonio to see if he'd be available to maybe help, because bird. ]

Julieta taps her talon on the counter.]
Video --> Action
Okay. I'll be there in a minute.
[ She turns off her phone and heads out of her room, Casita helping her along to get to the kitchen all the quicker, where she finds Julieta - still a bird - waiting on the counter ]
Are you okay, Mamá? I mean, uh... [ Obviously she's not okay, she's a bird! ]
Action; ooof all my typos
How did this happen! She began hopping in place. She couldn't believe this kept happening!]
Haha, no worries!
Mamá, wait, I can't...I can't understand you. [ She hates admitting it, but she can't really do anything to help her mother right now. Taking a moment to check her phone, she can't help feeling a bit frustrated that Antonio hasn't gotten back to her yet. But he might be busy, and she doesn't want to pressure him.
So she sends him another message, asking him to check the network when he can before she puts her phone away and looks at Julieta again. ]
Mamá, were you... [ She hesitates a moment, because there isn't too much she could really ask like this. She'd have to keep it to yes or no questions for now. ] You didn't run into anything strange right before, did you?

She tries to take deep breaths, a difficult task when you have a beak instead of a nose.
At Luisa's question, she pauses. What had she been doing? She shook her head and flew over to the cutting board, pushing some of the vegetables she had been cutting with her beak before flying back to Luisa. Only, flying was a very difficult thing when you weren't actually born a bird and she flopped onto the floor, trying to get herself situated again.]

So you were just cutting vegetables, and suddenly you were a bird? [ She didn't really need an answer for that, she could guess that's what her mother means.
Thinking for a moment, she then reaches into her pocket and pulls out her phone again. ] I don't...I don't know if you've seen some of the people on the network, but there have been people that get...strange features sometimes? It can happen randomly, but...
[ She can't think of anything specifically, but she thinks she's seen something like that before. ]

She has spoken to Elliot, and of course, there were her daughters...
A small sad chirp came from her beak. How was she going to take care of the family like this? How did she change back?]

...you know, Mamá...when Mira first got, uh, cursed with her wolf form? She was stuck that way for a little while, but she learned to control it eventually, and now she can change back and forth at will. So maybe you can do that too.
[ And she knows it's not much of a comfort. But at the moment, it's all she's got. ]

Alright, calm down. This all happened because she was crying. So... she has to calm down. She can't get emotional... lovely. Pepa says clear skies... alright... so... clear head, clear head.
There's no pop or puff of smoke or any pain. One minute, Julieta is a bird, the next? She's back to being a woman.]

Still she smiles and wraps Julieta in a big hug. ] Oh, Mamá! You did it!
no subject
Not without your help, mi vida.
no subject
I didn't do all that much, Mamá. It was mostly you.

At least an hour and a half since this isn't falling apart like it should be. [She popped it into her mouth and then sipped the broth.] The broth is still rather flavorless too.

It's...strange, hearing it coming from her mother. ]
...Mamá?
no subject
Yes, mijita?
no subject
How much did she actually know what was going on in her mother's head? ]
...What...What were you thinking about...before you turned into a bird?
