Some might argue that a continuous Dutch angle, while other maintain that Vertical Phone Filming (TM) remains the cardinal sin. However, all parties might agree that what is currently happening is the actual worst, since whoever is holding the camera doesn't seem to have a single clue what they're doing. It keeps moving, for one thing, and more often than not is at an angle that makes no sense at all, and doesn't seem to focus on anything.]

It's not...uncommon for folks who end up being brought here from other worlds. Which has been happening a lot more often these days.

Yeah, it's...been this whole thing. There are actually a lot of people like you who have been arriving from other worlds. The thing we're talking on can help you connect to them if you ever need to.

That hasn't really seemed to work out for people so far.

Yeah. We have a Spirit World, but not so much the traditional Underworld.

So if you lived in the Underworld, are you a god of some kind where you're from? [ If she could recognize a name, she might at least have an idea of who or what she's dealing with. ]

[Unfortunately, Zagreus is a very minor figure. Unless you get into some of the weirder mythology. He wasn't at all surprised when she didn't recognize his name.]

Whoa, really? The god of the Underworld?

[ Hades was definitely a big name in mythology, even if it wasn't something she read up too much on herself. ]

I'd never heard anything about him having children before.

Yeah, a lot of my family was surprised to hear about it too.

[and like, really. who would have guessed Persephone would put up with him long enough for that? (Zagreus is kind of beginning to see that they do get on well, but it's still hard for him to pictured.]

[ Zagreus seems like a young adult to her, but...well, he's a god, so there's no way she could guess how old he actually is. ]

There's not really a great sense of time in the Underworld.

Though to be fair, he simply didn't talk to most of my family on Olympus since far before I was born.

I guess the other gods don't really drop by to visit him a lot either.

He more or less wouldn't let them until recently.

Well, not them having a child. But the myth of Hades kidnapping Persephone is one of the most famous ones about...either of them, really.
