action;
WHO: Asriel and your character!
WHERE: The park
WHEN: 6/1
WHAT: Asriel's regained the last thing he ever really cared to regain.
WARNINGS: There may be mentions of child death.
( In the park, there is one (1) single, golden-colored flower that looks healthy, but wilted all at the same time. If someone listens closely enough, they may hear sounds of sniffling, or see the flower move without the help of wind or anything else. It... almost looks like it's shaking...?
Though, it could be someone just imagining things. After all, flowers can't cry or move on their own as this flower seems to be able to do so. Either way, it's grown in a place where it seems to stick out compared to the other flowers do. )

...Hello? Is someone there?
no subject
Back off!
no subject
...Hello?
no subject
But, he knows better than to run away now. In the past, being cowardly lead him down a path he never wanted to go to.
He turns towards her then, frowning heavily. )
Are you deaf? Didn't you hear what I just told your pet? Scram.
( Rude or no, it doesn't matter. If he changes back to his other self, she won't have any idea that it's him. And right now, calling his mood sour would be an understatement. )
no subject
Oh, um...sorry. I've just never...seen a talking flower before.
But I had heard some crying earlier. Was...that you?
no subject
( It almost feels like old habits are settling in for him, the longer he's like this. At the least -- there's far more emotion for him than the last time he was a flower. A smile tugs upwards on his face then, nearly condescending. )
Give me a break.
no subject
I wouldn't really know, honestly. I haven't met too many flowers to know what kinds would cry. [ She shrugs a little. ] Then again, you don't exactly look like the kind of flower that would talk either.
no subject
( Was she getting irritated? It's so easy to get under people's skin... Well, doing something like that would beat being bored in the past. )
Who are you trying to fool by pretending to be surprised?
no subject
I mean, yeah I've seen a lot of things. Mostly ghosts though, to be honest. [ She gasps, and suddenly she's on her knees right beside him, all irritation fading and giving way to excitement. ] Wait, are you a ghost? Are you possessing a flower and that's how it's talking?
no subject
( What a stupid question! All the reason to give her a stupid answer in response. )
no subject
You are pretty unpleasant for a flower, huh? Maybe I should just pluck you out of the ground. [ She glances over at her miniature pig, who is sniffing the ground around him curiously. ] Either that, or Maka could use a snack about now.
no subject
Aw, c'mon. You wouldn't want to hurt poor, innocent me, would you? Didn't anyone tell you not to judge someone completely by first meetings?
no subject
[ Crossing her arms, she considers it for a bit more. ] Tell you what. Let's try this conversation again, and then I'll decide.
You have a name?
no subject
Sure I do. Don't all of us?
I'm Flowey. Flowey the flower.
no subject
So, is this how you always look, or is this one of those "new abilities gone wrong" things?
no subject
( When you don't want to honestly answer a question, it's best to be vague! He knows from experience. )
no subject
no subject
( Don't make him answer that. )
Since he's used to talking flowers
[He had been traveling down the walking path, crouching down and whispering greetings to the wildflowers as he went. When suddenly he sees a flower that is drooping and crying. He doesn't even need to be able to feel this flower's emotions to tell that they are incredible sad.]
[He kneels down in front of the flower.]
Hello? What is wrong?
sorry for slowness!
If I wanted help, don'cha think I would have asked for it?
no problem at all
Not necessarily.
Do you not want help?
no subject
( The last time a human had shown him such concern was-- when he had first met his new best friend in the underground. But right now, knowing what he is - he knows that he doesn't deserve any concern of any kind. )
no subject
Not particularly. This is what I came to the park to do.
no subject
( He should know. He learned that in the past. )
no subject
No, I came here to talk to flowers, like you. Helping just seems like the right next step. We could talk about something else if you'd prefer.
[He gets a pensiveness expression from that tip.]
I know it might get me hurt sometimes. There's always some risk when reaching out to others. That would be true no matter what I do. Still, if there's a chance I might make someone else feel better, why not be kind?
no subject
Unless you were expecting to meet more talking flowers like me, it sounds like you're wasting your time.
Besides, what's the point in helping others if you end up getting hurt in the process?
no subject
[He says this like it is a very normal part of his life. Because by now, it kinda is!]
Hmm, I don't think you need a reason to help others. No matter the outcome, at least then I know I tried.
