Un: Zodiac | Mid-Month Update
WHO: Everyone!
WHERE: Libra App
WHEN: July 15th
WHAT: Zodiac Network Post
WARNINGS: None!
[We've reached the second half of July. Tonight, for unknown reasons, many people decided it was a great time for a game night. By now, all the games have started, with everyone involved unable to leave their game areas. Everyone's devices will emit a soothing wind chime sound as a new Zodiac post appears. The chime will sound even if you have your phone turned off or on silent, and will not stop until you read their message and comment to it.]
Hugo and Lycaon have joined the app. Say hi everyone!
Hello. Thank you for using the Libra App.
What the hell did you guys do? The seers were all saying it was going to be a peaceful month for once, and now we got SEVEN spiritual hotzones going. Even worse, they're all barriered so we can't even get intel.
Wait. Make that 8. Apparently Janet's game night just became a hotzone. And they wonder why I never agree to go to workplace hangouts.
Ugh, sound off and tell us what's going on. I was going to have a date night tonight, but looks like I'm working overtime. Everyone, please survive. I get extra paperwork if you don't.

This post is sponsored by the Rainforest Cafe! Swing by and dine in the tropics!
[Users will have the option to choose their own display names and user pics if they haven't already. If nothing is chosen, the app will use their real name and a quick photo taken of them from their camera's phone. Like always, there'll be no responses from Zodiac. The event log can be found here! Characters in the Jumanji games can talk over the network so they can check in with folks- however no one can leave or enter into the established gamezones]

It seems to be only able to say one word: murder. Though the cadence and inflection can be translated into a full English language equivalent. Though it's mostly unnecessary to do this translation. In the end it is mostly talking about bloodlust.
Its dialect also appears to be from the British Isles.

... Also this sounds weirdly familiar, for some reason. Did anything else stand out about it?

[And Luke was almost one. Shudder.]
Miss Belle did seem to know about its dangerous nature before I did. I just happened to act on pure instinct, so maybe its familiarity is not so strange.
It could tear through metal with its teeth quite easily, however, as demonstrated by my leg.

But hm. If Belle had some idea of it... Oh. That makes sense.]
Yeah, I think something like it might've been in a movie I saw once. Which would explain the familiarity.

Do you happen to know how it was defeated?

[Makes about as much sense as anything else. Too bad the CHRISTIAN is in another castle!]

Yeah. Sorry I didn't have anything more helpful. All I've got besides that is if you all go back to try to deal with it, trying to take it out from a distance would be the way to go.
... Which I realize probably isn't very helpful, either. Sorry.

[Honestly, any sort of information on this creature is helpful.]
Could this game be movie references, I wonder. I've heard of a game similar to this, although I have never heard of it actually posing a danger outside of familial discourse.
[Yes he is talking about Scene It?.]
