This is Anby Demara, a Guardian of the Black Order. I have downloaded the app required per the mission perimeters of the Kaisou Team, and will use it to record my personal log in hopes of remaining transparent under the new leadership.

[-- yeah she's clearly misunderstood the purpose of the Libra app, but the voice recording keeps going]

The date is June 8th, 2025. It has been one week since I have arrived in Kaisou, [a passing truck honks, making the state name inaudible]. Since then, I have prioritized finalizing my living arrangements and familiarizing myself with the city.

As of recording, I have located 1 movie theater and 3 burger joints in my immediate. The movie theater offers a decent matinee price, though the film I watched was rather disappointing. It was a live action remake of the animated classic Lilo & Stitch. The film was more sanitized than the original one, and it ended with Nami giving Lilo up to the state. I am unsure how to feel about that change to the story, but I don't think I liked it.

I should try to look into other ways to find movies, as even with the matinee deal, seeing movies frequently there will add up in cost.

Tonight I plan to try a In-n-Out burger for the first time. I have heard about these burgers in online communities for years, but they never had a store location in Florida. It was a surprise to find one here, and I'm excited for tonight's meal. [She says still very much in a monotone. So excited :| ]

I don't believe I've seen Lilo & Stitch before, but I'll take your word for the live action being bad. I haven't seen too many Disney movies, honestly.

By the way, have you run into Eizen yet? Last I heard, he was still missing.

The animated movie is a cinematic classic, I have fond memories of it. [She relates to Stitch a lot] You should watch it, I can give you my Disney+ login if you need it.

Eizen? No. Last I heard, Velvet was following up a lead in Iowa about him. Apparently there was reports of a tall blond man being spotted amongst the corn rows there.

If you have a Netflix account, I recommend La Huesera. It translates to 'The Bone Woman.'

Huh... well, if there's been sightings, then he's probably fine. Either he's going to have one hell of a story to tell or it'll be shockingly boring.

Fair enough. If I like this one enough, I might ask you for more recommendations. Anyway, shouldn't be too hard to pirate it. The usual places should have it.

Hm... it depends on what you mean by that. If we're talking about something that enriches my life or holds monetary value, then no. But if we're talking about something that's valuable to me... then yes. Junjaw is missing. Why?

Someone mentioned that people were losing valuable things. Junjaw's a major headache, but there's no way he could wander off on his own. Something must be going on.

[Kinich hums in thought as she tells him that. If other people are also experiencing this, then that makes the culprit very powerful if they can snatch an entity capable of possession from their host's body.]

I agree, especially given Junjaw's disappearance. Although I've enjoyed the quiet, this does seem to point towards a powerful entity. But nobody has mentioned anything out of the ordinary....

[Save for the weird masquerade invitation at the beginning of the month, but Junjaw burned it using Kinich's body.]

The only thing of note is that there had been an invitation sent out at the beginning of the month. I didn't get a chance to examine it, though. Junjaw destroyed it with unusual zeal.

Unfortunately, I agree. My pact also demands that I make sure to find and retrieve him. Anyone having a winged serpent is troublesome enough.

That sounds nice, actually. We'll probably still want the subtitles to actually hear the movie. Even with the Spanish dubs it was hard to hear what they were saying.

[Modern sound mixing is atrocious. He's pretty sure he could hear them better like 10 years ago.]

But I'm curious to see how far your Spanish has come.
