[We've reached the second half of November. The keyhole has been sealed and the barrier from the Crystal tower is up, protecting most of the city from the dangers of the Spirit Realm. Meanwhile, the Zodiac employees have been rescued from the Unknown, but it's still open for people to explore]

Wow, my expectations for this month were on the floor, and it still managed to suck more than I thought it would.

Thanks to everyone who worked hard to keep us all from dying. From our analysis, the barrier you guys devised from the tower should keep the city safe for now. Unfortunately we haven't figured out how to expand the area of the barrier yet, so the edges of town are going to have to deal with a lot more spirit realm crap.

Including apparently a concerning looking mountain. No, we have no idea what's up with that because the Zodiac employees have used up all their overtime dealing with the Heartless. Nor do we have any idea why some of you are able to use brand new elements now. In fact, don't expect much back up from us for the next couple weeks. Anyone who isn't on R&R are busy preparing for the thanksgiving office potluck.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to pretend to look busy while I try to distract my mind from the horrors. Bye.

Yes. That did happen in my past life, if that's what you're wondering. Two friends were also there to witness it, but they were overpowered and could only watch.

[Venti sighs softly. He considers the question for a few minutes before finally answering.]

Venti, are you fucking kidding me?! Zhongli didn't even know?! Just because there's nothing that can be done about it now doesn't mean people wouldn't want to if something like that happened to you!

Of course I didn't tell him. In my past life, I didn't tell him because there wouldn't be a point to it. He should be free to make his own choice without having it colored by my experience.

In my current life, I don't want to tell him because there's nothing he can do about it. It's in the past. All that knowledge will do is burden him with unnecessary pain and guilt.

For that matter, I didn't tell anyone else for similar reasons. Talking about the Gnosis in great detail just puts people at risk, and Zhong and I don't remember as much of the details of the Gnoses as we would feel comfortable with, either.

Fine, whatever, don't tell anyone else not involved and I'll keep my mouth shut about it. You didn't tell him in your past life because of whatever the hell you were dealing with over there.

The guy's got rocks for brains, but you really think he's not gonna find out at some point then feel even worse not knowing before that? I don't need to know him to know I'd wanna know something like that from the one it happened to.

[There's a ton of complicated circumstances involved here, but Ragna has always pushed forward even if he did so with the past chained to his ankle. And he saw them flirting in there it was gross but even with fucked up memory they're so damned obviously taken with each other.]

Haha... he negotiated a trade with her. Definitely a complicated situation back then.

I'll think about it. I don't think I have it in me to bring it up myself with him, but I will think about it some more.

[That might be the most vulnerable Venti's been with him. But at least Ragna is getting something more concrete with regards to his true feelings.]
