It's not that they wouldn't be able to, Mira, it's that we... we don't have identification of any sort outside of what the horoscope people already gave us. I don't even have a birth certificate. There wasn't exactly TIME to write one in the face of fleeing for your life.] Even with Casita, we don't have the documents they would need and want for such a large loan.

I didn't realize that you needed a birth certificate for a loan. [She's... not sure what exactly you need for a bank loan. Never had to think about it until now.] I guess Zodiac is the only ones who could help then.

It isn't just the birth certificate, Mira, mi Corazón. It is... just proof I exist. We have nothing that allows me to prove I exist, and more than that, that I am a safe investment. Banks don't want to loan money if they cannot be assured they'll get it back.

The only possible thing I can put down for collateral is Casita, and I simply can't risk that. But, Mira, you don't need to worry about this, alright? I will handle it.

Banks need IDs and birth certificates and in my case visas or a green card, mijo. I've got none of those. [What with, you know, being TRANSPORTED here but also, even with their house here, she was a baby of refugees escaping the destruction of their village. Documentation was not a priority.]

Thank you, August, I may just need you anyway. I've never opened my own restaurant before or charged prices for things. And there are no Colombian food restaurants I can go to see what they're charging for things.
