I got these in the mail on the same day as this app appeared in my device. I'm wondering if they belong to anyone here?

[ The first picture he attaches is a normal 12-pack of Baja Blast. The second picture is, uh, a long furby. A perfectly normal item. ]

I was also wondering if anyone that can reach on this forum happens to come from another place?

[ He's been here A While, but he wasn't hooked up to this network until today. It had been very strange to arrive in a different world altogether, and the people here weren't able to see his halo or wings. Azel mostly kept a low profile and tried to investigate the strange organization that was able to recognize him for who he is. Today seems to be some sort of weird breakthrough. ]

Well, I'm half angel, for example. A friend of mine is an elf, and I'm pretty sure I saw someone with cat ears around here.

I mean, it's convenient since it means we don't have to deal with them freaking out over it, but it's still strange.

The people here are both similar yet quite different from the races in my homeworld.

Okay, so this is some.... different universe bullshit, got it. The simple explanation is that an angel is the creation and servant of a really big deity. You'll see churches for worshipping this deity all over the place.
