WHAT: Azel got some weird stuff in the mail so he's trying to give it away.

I got these in the mail on the same day as this app appeared in my device. I'm wondering if they belong to anyone here?

[ The first picture he attaches is a normal 12-pack of Baja Blast. The second picture is, uh, a long furby. A perfectly normal item. ]

I was also wondering if anyone that can reach on this forum happens to come from another place?

[ He's been here A While, but he wasn't hooked up to this network until today. It had been very strange to arrive in a different world altogether, and the people here weren't able to see his halo or wings. Azel mostly kept a low profile and tried to investigate the strange organization that was able to recognize him for who he is. Today seems to be some sort of weird breakthrough. ]

You'd think so? I do wonder why it was sent to me by mistake. It didn't have a return address or anything like that.

Well... It's probably something of a copout, but maybe it has to do with how strange everything's been here, lately. As far as an explanation goes.

That doesn't mean it's not somebody else's, but that could be how it just showed up! Though I haven't seen any items show up on their own, personally, just yet.

I suppose it would be remiss to assume with little information. I'll wait and see if anyone here is the owner, or knows the owner.

I think it’s understandable to assume sometimes if you’re okay with being wrong, especially if you came from another world. Because why would you not go based on what you know best?

I’ve heard about that happening a lot, so is that what you meant by another place?

Yes, that's what I mean.

I come from another world, called Terra. While there are certain similarities between this world and mine, there are many fundamental differences as well.

[ Azel has been exploring a bit in between his (incredibly normie) part-time jobs, but he wouldn't be so rude as to refuse such a kind-hearted offer. ]

I'll have to take you up on that. Perhaps on my next off day.

Has there always been supernatural things in this city?

Okay! I'm in school full time and also work, but just let me know ahead of time what day works best for you and I'm sure we can figure something out.

As far as I know, yes. I haven't always been able to see it myself because I'm not the most adept at magic, but my mother told me that this place has always had something special about it and that the magic here was strong. She told me some day I'd see it for myself, and she was right about that! It seemed like she knew a lot about magic.

[ Azel reads the message with slight interest. He wonders if he should ask about Rutile's mother, but since Rutile only used past tense, he thinks that it wouldn't be a polite thing. ]

Are you a magic user, then? [ He's still trying to wrap his mind around the whole 'magic' thing, since Originium Arts had the same effect, but a completely different source. ]

[Honestly, Rutile wouldn't mind the questions. It's not that he's not sad he didn't get to know her better, but at least all of his memories of her are fond.]

Yes! I'm not especially skilled because I was only able to start learning recently, but I can manage some minor healing magic finally.

Is magic not common where you're from?

Yes and no. There's a type of mineral that enables similar things to magic, but it's more scientific than the word 'magic' would suggest.
