Un: Zodiac | Mid-Month Update

WHO: Everyone!
WHERE: Libra App
WHEN: February 14th
WHAT: Zodiac Network Post
WARNINGS: None!

[We've reached the middle of February. Cupid arrows are still flying through the city, making people explain what's deep in their hearts. The post begins like the previous one had, with notifications of peoples coming and goings]

Ganymede
Ganymede has joined the app. Say hi everyone!

Valvatorez Labyrs
Valvatorez and Cassandra have left the app.

[The post then continues on as normal.]

Hello. Thank you for using the Libra App.

I got shot with an arrow on my way to work today, so let's make this quick:

I don't like any of you, I don't like doing these updates. Valentine's Day is nothing more than a sham meant to sell stuff and love is dead.

Now for a word from our sponsors.

This post is sponsored by Golden Peacock Jewelers. Show your love this Valentine's day with gold.

[Users will have the option to choose their own display names and user pics if they haven't already. If nothing is chosen, the app will use their real name and a quick photo taken of them from their camera's phone. Like always, there'll be no responses from Zodiac. And as always, feel free to keep backtagging the event logs! ]

You could say that, yeah.

Gift registry?

[That thought hadn't even crossed his mind]

Congratulations on the wedding! Condolences on the moogles dragging you through it, but hey, at least you don’t have to spend too much money now.

It’s basically just a wishlist for your wedding day that people can refer to when buying wedding gifts. It might be a little late but it’s still a good idea to have one.

Aha, thank you. That is the upside I'm looking at.

Oh! Sorry, I know what a gift registry is. My sister did get married a couple years ago and I was a groomsmen in that.
[Read: I swear I'm socialized] It just hadn't occurred to me that this whole thing would merit one.

Yeah, you can just throw a regular party. No more worrying about dress codes and wedding cake prices and hiring an officiant.

Think about it this way: it's a really good excuse to ask everybody to get you expensive things for your home. Whatever you got your sister, you have the chance now to get something of the same or higher quality than that.

That does sound rather nice.

[He's never been much of a party planner, outside of the aspects that involve music.

But, the mention of his sister from Leon does give him pause]

Well... that's true. I don't know how I feel about asking everyone I know for gifts. But my sister's been over the moon since I told her. Not sure what she's planning, but it's not like her to hold back. At all.

Everyone you know would honestly be happy to get you gifts for your wedding day, even late.

I get this funny feeling that it might end up a competition on who can bring the best gifts from the registry.
fiddlestick: (what the frick)

What?

Oh no, there doesn't need to be a competition about it! My sister's just extra, no need to get on her level!
