Aside from that... I have a question for everyone who doesn't come from a world or time with technology like smart phones or the internet.
How difficult have you found learning technology in this world? And are you familiar with google? What about youtube or tik tok?
I'm just asking on behalf of a friend whose been having struggles. Thank you for your time. (*^_^*)

Better you specialize in one or two things and make it your expertise.
Can't say I know a lot about plants or... theology. That the study of... what, exactly?
And I will admit, it is pretty impressive. I can't claim to have created it, but I definitely make a use of it.
Oh, and Melusines are a type of intelligent being in Fontaine. They're smaller than humans, but they have human intelligence, despite how they look more like animals than people.
It's a crime to treat them badly based on that, though. Honestly, they're fantastic people. They see and understand emotions and health better than humans do.

Theology's the study of religion and gods. You could say I come from a very religious background, so I ended up absorbing a lot more than most people do.
[Thats the polite way of saying he grew up with cults ok]
So they're small animal people with high emotional intelligence? Ha, they sound pretty great to me, I'd like to meet one someday. And good! Populations like that should be legally protected.

He lets out a whistful sound. ]
Nothing wrong with that sort of thing, if you're good at understanding that sort of thing. The idea of god, to me--used to be just something that affects the world in a way we'll never understand. Learning recently there's a bit more to it than that.
For better or worse.
Anyway.
It'd be nice to see melusine here, it's almost a little lonely without them.
Then again, it's nice to catch a break from finding stickers all over my stuff...

Ah. Yeah... Zhongli told me some about your conversation. [You can practically hear the throat clearing over text] Sorry. The Geo Archon is kind and has lived a long time, but I suspect he leaned too heavily into using contracts as a substitution to learning common sense. And unfortunately, he was in-between non-disclosure contracts when you met him.
After that, I made a new one with him. Should another person from Teyvat arrive, you should have... three months before he starts dropping truth bombs on them.
[After that your grandpa will be loose once more good luck]
Haha, fond of stickers huh? Well if you ever miss them too much, there's plenty of stores that sell stickers here.

just when he's reminded of it.]When you live several thousand years, you evolve into being unable to understand common mortal folk, huh? [ Reminds of him of Neuvillette. ] It's not that big a deal, once I had time to think it through. [ it's not fine ] Making an agreement like that is definitely a better idea, though, so I appreciate you doing that. I'd probably have had less headaches if I learned in three months as opposed to right away.
[ zhongli is off the chain with a 3 month release timer. great. ]
Haha--nonono, don't get me wrong. I'm saying it's a good thing. The melusines back home used to have a bet between them, I'm pretty sure.
About how many stickers they could put on my person before I noticed.
It was a pain getting them off my clothes sometimes...
no subject
[Or something like that]
Haha... I understand. How many have they managed to get on you at once? Have you kept count?
no subject
It's a little hard to put yourself in that mindset when you're not used to it, huh.
Guess it goes both ways?
And I have. There was a meeting I was set to go to with a friend of mine and I slept terribly the night before. So I might have been sleeping with my eyes open and ... well.
Thirty seven.
no subject
[Since they sure seem to like you Wriothesley]
37??
That's really impressive! You must sleep deeply or they're really stealthy. щ(ʘ╻ʘ)щ
no subject
[ he's not from earth but he sure does understand stockholm syndrome. why is he surrounded by gods and god-like beings. lordt. ]
Melusines can absolutely be sneaky.
But I'll be honest: I was definitely not on the same planet for at least ten minutes. They had plenty of time.
no subject
[ Because they like you Wriothesley. And now you're stuck with them forever.]
Haha, well, lesson learned about where you sleep, at least.
no subject
[ god don't remind him he doesn't want to think about it. ]
Don't have to worry about it here, though, at least. Given the only dangerous being I currently live with insists on sleeping exclusively his couch instead of an actual bed, I feel undisturbed sleep is going to be a constant in my future.
no subject
[He's seen those two talking on the app together sometimes. They seem close... as close as someone as socially awkward and Neuvillette can be]
Honestly, what's with water beings and their resistance to normal beds? I live with a water spirit and it took forever to get him to sleep regularly on his bed. It was always "oh the couch is fine" or "I don't need my own space don't worry about it".
no subject
So Imagine my surprise when I end up in the house of the vaunted Iudex and Grand Judge of Fontaine--only to find out he never leaves his livingroom...
Despite having several working bedrooms with beds in them.
It was a bit of a shock, at first.
I suppose your back doesn't really suffer when you're immortal...
Must be nice. Ask your water spirit buddy if he has a flawless bone structure or something.
I spend ONE night sleeping on the couch in my office? Boom, bones feel like crap for a whole day.
no subject
At least he's doing what he can to look after the Fontainians here. In his own way.
He does. Seraph's appearances are influenced more on how they perceive themselves and how they act. So if one felt they were an old man and acted like one, they'd start looking like an old man.
Mikleo meanwhile has a hair and skin routine that could rival a beauty influencer. Sooo... he looks basically flawless, bones and all.
no subject
I appreciate him, for sure. Even if living with him is far different than working for him. It's odd not having a professional relationship with him. [ being roommates is very weird. he misses his fortress. ]
...Damn, so it's like that. Some people have all the luck.
What I wouldn't give to be able to wake up feeling and looking as flawless as I did when I went down.
no subject
I can imagine it's quite a shift. But he seems like a guy who could benefit from having personal relationships, so maybe it's for the best.
... I don't know, Wriothesley, I think you're doing pretty okay for yourself in that department.
no subject
[ he might by an old phonograph, though... ]
He's long overdue. I'm not exactly the best person to teach him how to get along with others--I'm pretty introverted myself, but. I'd like to think I have the upper hand.
Also, is that you calling me handsome? I'll take the compliment. Won't catch me being too modest.
no subject
[He is so glad this is text so Wrio can't see his expression as he has a mini crisis. Does Wriothesley know the truth?? How many bombshells got dropped on him? Should he say anything??
....No. None of this is his business, so he's keeping his mouth shut.]
There's nothing wrong with being an introvert. Extroverts are more social, but they can be a lot sometimes.
Well, I suppose it is. I'm off the dating market, not blind.
no subject
[ dont worry, jun, he'll at least be quick to clear that up for you. He knows--even if it's something he's wrestled with for a while now. Talk about having your beliefs scrambled. ]
Tell me about it. I don't have the energy for that sort of wildness.
And don't worry. I'll take the compliment gracefully.
no subject
Mm, I'd agree with that assessment.
[No need to say it further than that. He's not about to spill details, even if that statement does show there's a good chance this man knows.
Man. How many divine secrets has been dumped on this poor guy.]
How noble of you. \( ̄︶ ̄*\))
