Here I thought I already had all kinds'a social media on my phone. [ the guy's voice is deep, like the bottom of a volcano. ] But this one's new.

I ain't stressed, but turns out it might be real.

Most of the stuff on my face and hands and legs was me, yeah. had to trust a buddy of mine to do the rest of the set--it's hard to draw on your own back, yanno?

it's inkwork. most of it, anyway. some are piercings, too. like the ones in my ears and lip.

the rest of the bits that look like metal staples are just 3d artwork to make me look patched together.

sure, even the smallest piercing can hurt, but you get used to it after a while. you build up a tolerance to it. getting tattoos is kind'a painful too, but there are some people who get addicted to the feeling of it, yanno?

thats why some people who have a tattoo dont just have one or two, but dozens.

some people dont wanna have face tattoos and like i get it, i respect it
'sides, face tattoos are a life choice, right? aint something you can hide with a sweater or glove.
being that this is my profession, i didnt mind so much

I always have lots of tattoos all over, never just one or two, thats boring
I'd have to really think about what I'd want to tattoo on my FACE though, if I ever decide to try tattooing my face... 🤔

but being that he's the eldest of a family of five, this isn't gonna' stop him from being a bit of a shit. ]

you should be careful drawing stuff on yourself with sharpie, that stuff is called 'permanent' marker for a reason. might stick one day.

most real tattoos are absolutely permanent though, they're done with a needle, you know? 😏

my favorite part of halloween is scaring kiddos.
i got a great setup outside my flat. where i sit in a chair with a bowl of candy in my lap, dressed as a zombie in a mask...

with a 'we're watching, just take one handful' sign on my chest.

i make the costume look bulky and awkward so people think it's a stuffed suit.
so when they get greedy...

i jump up and yell 'I SAID ONLY ONE'.

I put stuff on it so it stays longer!
hairspray, flowur, I've tried all kinds of stuff.
Usually lasts a couple weeks at least? depends where it is. and the color.
I've been doing it for MONTHS...!

But you draw your tattoos with a NEEDLE? 🤨
How does that work?

here's a trick for temp tattoos: hairspray is fine for the most part, but it dries out fast. you want it to stay longer? petroleum jelly. yanno, like vaseline. that'll make it last the longest.

a tattoo gun is loaded with ink, and the process of making the tattoo permanent is quite literally like a rapid constant shallow stabbing with several needles. Tattoos are, technically, wounds after all. Only difference is, is that you're injecting ink into the skin with each time the needles pass over an area.

[ he'll even send along a video--some practice work on a piece of that fake skin he'd shown earlier. ]

I didn't know tattoos are wounds. Honestly, makes sense. My boss back home had a big tattoo on his arm. I could TOTALLY see him deciding to get stabbed with a bunch of needles over and over to do something cool even though it hurts. He's that kind of guy.
Plus he's HUGE, you look at him and you're like "YEAH that guy kills things..." 🤔🎣😹
So that all checks out. 👍🏽

sometimes big guys can be the most stone-faced guys when they're in the chair
but other times they can be the whiniest babies too
youd be surprised the number of twiggy little guys who have more pain tolerance vs. the big ones.

I'll ask the store people for petrolium flavor jelly next time I go to the store. there's a medicicinal section. I've never bought anything from it but I know they've got that kind of stuff. Thanks for the tip!
