[Abasi is sitting in front of his camera, chin in one hand, and a fancy sword on the couch next to him resting against his thigh.
He's in a black tank top, and there's now a green gem now on his upper chest.]
I'm assuming it's this place that embedded this green gem into my chest. It doesn't seem to do anything except sit there and be a distraction. [He reaches over to poke at it for a moment. He doesn't flinch or anything.]
And...[He holds up the sword fully in front of the camera] this appeared in the bed at some point. I believe it has something to do with my past life, because it seems familiar to me.
...I will admit I don't know how to use a sword such as this. I should find lessons.

Aww, no, don't warn him. Dropping stuff like this on him when he least expects it is the most fun part. Don't ruin my fun for me.

To be fair most of the smutty stories I read don't involve bodices.
[At that question though, he grimaces.]
Those heteros made me upsetero. Like, who would pick that up and go "wow this is a great book." It's neither sexy nor is it a good romance. You could barely call it a book, and the movie was even worse! Like, chemistry? Don't know her.
