Just a few quick words today! First of all, we'd like to extend a congratulations to Horse! While Zodiac is looking into ways to return everyone to their homes, Horse took the initiative and found a way on her own! She truly showed that a can-do attitude truly is all you need to overcome barriers! We're proud of you, Horse, you're an inspiration to all of us, and we wish you the best wherever you may be.
But for the rest of you, don't worry! Zodiac is still here to monitor the situation and support you where it's needed. As we mentioned before, everyone on this app is experiencing unusual spirit readings. We've also found that this may cause some side effects such as a change in hair or eye color, new unusual body parts, new abilities and minor memory problems. So far there's no indication that these side effects are serious, so try not to worry about it! We promise to continue to keep you informed, as Zodiac values good and open communication.
Also, thank you for all your specimen donations last month! They will help in our understanding of how to utilize the Spirit Realm for the benefit of humanity.

I have reason to believe that Libra isn't responding explicitly to supernatural awareness. Now, precisely how Zodiac is identifying us in particular out of the sea of potential supernatural-sensitive candidates is something I'm very interested in figuring out. After all, you do raise a good point... they can't be the only ones with this knowledge. And while they're using it to help us for now, who's to say what the alternatives will do?
Of course, I don't wish to give you any more reason to fret. I think it's best that we remain vigilant, but try not to let all of this overwhelm us.
As for whether or not they are inept... I can only imagine that a corporation with this kind of reach and power wouldn't be relying on all of us if they actually knew what they were doing. Look at the makeup of this group... disoriented folks from other worlds, high school and college students with an average middling understanding of what's being dealt with, and a spattering of mostly-clueless adults.
No researcher that was actually looking for good data, as opposed to anything they can get their hands on, would choose the lot of us.

There's a bit of a flaw in your argument in that a group of know-nothings are useful for stress tests since they'll think of all kinds of things to use any device or system for that nobody who knows what they're doing would have thought of.
However, I've also worked with enough people to know that if anyone in Zodiac actually thought of that, they were promptly ignored because of the ineptitude you described.

I admit, my knowledge of this company and this app is limited by time and knowing nothing about them but what I can glean from posts here. Still, I think given what they themselves have admitted, they're just trying to put up a smiling front to cover for their complete lack of understanding.
I just hope that lack of understanding doesn't come back to bite all of us. The Spirit Realm isn't a toy.
