[ A three-story building with a shop in the bottom-most floor, a sign that is overtly fancy and gilded with silver, Auguries of Innocence. In the window, there is now a smaller, just as fancy, but red glowing sign that says Opening Soon: Devil May Cry.

The second floor a storeroom filled with crates of items unsorted and damaged alike, things Vergil has collected for numerous years and hasn't finished restoring, or is just holding while not ready to sell. The floor also has a number of crafting tools in it for restoring broken items or refurbishing damaged ones.

The third floor is a minimalistic, mostly grey and silver apartment with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a study, a kitchen, a livingroom and a dining area in it. It's covered in antiques, with some weapons hanging on the wall. The furniture looks styled more for looking at than it is for sitting on, which is annoying, at best.


For the Montshs of June/July, Vergil and Dante have forcibly kidnapped Nero to live with them while he's dealing with some rather unfortunate memory issues -- and this post will be used for any threads involving the trio + any visitors while this mess goes on. ]

[Nox actually gives his father a shit-eating grin at the ribbing, already loving how Eunie has taking to bullying Vergil.]

See, I'm not the only one who thinks so!

[But when the mentioning of losing his memories comes around, Nox gives a look to Eunie, a frown on his face as he scratches his head.]

Around last week I think. Happened after school- it was... some guy I didn't recognize, don't recall his face. Said he was some kid's uncle and was handing out water bottles, I think. That's about the best that I remember- I've lost a bunch of memories, apparently.

[ he glances between Eunie and Nero with a quiet, but audible sigh. why are all people in this city like this? He's had fun before!!! But he's tired and not in the mood to argue with this woman who's apparently buddies with both his son and brother. Let it go, settle your teeth, vergil. ]

I do not feel the need to defend myself against foolish accusations, and I will merely say I know exactly how to have fun.

[ JUST BECAUSE HIS BRAND OF FUN IS BORING TO OTHER PEOPLE...

But for now he's going to go quiet as Nero... explains his situation, his troubles, and he might be peeking over his shoulder with a minute expression of concern in those catlike eyes of his. Not that he'll voice said concern. ]

[YOU'RE BORING, VERGIL. And you're lucky she's shifting gears right now because she'd point it out again.]

He got you with that? Fucking shit... Getting sick of being the last one to learn everything.

[For as trivial as her complaint sounded, it was voiced with genuine worry and frustration. They caught the guy and... well, he's in a much worse state now that won't let him pull this crap again but despite how the result of the spell made her stomach twist, he got someone she knew with his stupid water.]

... Hold on. [She pulled out a small, leather bound notebook fixed with indentations and using a small four-leaf clover as a bookmark. She shuffled through the pages frantically and angrily as if searching for something specific that wasn't marked this time.]

'ck's sake, where the bloody hell... This happened to anyone else you know? It's a longshot, but... might have something for it.

[The whole vibe of the conversation has shifted, and while Nox is frustrated in losing memories, there's not much else he can do right now. He sighs.]

Honestly? No one else- but I haven't really been investigating since coming here.

[A beat, and he crosses his arms in contemplation.] Wouldn't be surprised if some people from the basketball team might also have an issue. Can't say for sure though.

[ he is boring but he's also very easily agitated when it comes to things involving his family, so even if Eunie switches gears to the more important topic, he's still listening. Intently. ]

He mentioned when it first started being apparent that he was missing memories that someone was handing water out near his school. After that, he does not remember who gave him the water, and who else may have also drank some.

[ see, he's HELPING. Even if he sounds ready to bite someone's throat out.

Though he turns to look at Eunie a moment later. ]

'Something for it.'

Son of a bitch really got that far. Ugh... [Her anger just barely made her think they should have taken the guy out, but she knew doing that would make her feel worse than what did happen.

She spoke as she flipped through her book.]

Been lookin' for a way to reverse the effect of that water that's been going around. Came from that Oz Spirit Realm, apparently, but I found this at a place in Undertown that's got a good rep.

[Said stopping her finger on one specific page, then pulling a sleeve of what looked like tea leaves from the book, setting her clover to mark the page and closing it.]

Memory loss ain't easy to undo, but brewing this should start helping after a while. Took me the whole sodding month to find, but it works. [For as brusque and vulgar as Eunie was, this was something she knew well. Despite her word choice, she spoke completely seriously with the frustration that this happened, the relief that there was a fix for something so dangerous, and the authority of a medic.]

Wait, that shit was from the Spirit Realm? [Nox scrubs his face, exhaling.] Fucking figures.

[Just his goddamn luck for it to be something that ridiculous. From Oz, no less. Obviously he's not pleased, but he can't help but pause with what Eunie says next.]

Okay, so I'm gonna have to drink this for a while, right? They give you an actual timeline of how long it takes, or is that a "by person" sort of thing? [For the first time in the whole month, Nox actually looks hopeful. If this gets all his memories back he will drink an entire fucking gallon. Nox needs those memories back, he needs the connections he's lost, it's killing him every time he feels that emptiness inside. The sooner it leaves, the better.]

[ given vergil had only been to the spiritual realm once, and it ended pretty unspectacularly, if not a little amusing what with how he'd spent most of it with Nero as a lizard on his shoulders.

He stares down at the medicine that Eunie gives nero--tea, really, and he looks... skeptical for a moment, before deciding that if Nero trusted this woman, maybe he'd back off the deeply seated mistrust that's suddenly growing in his gut. ]

...Of course there would be a very slow, but benign solution to this. I appreciate the solution, miss... Eunie, was it?

That is all very well and good, however, I do have to ask.
Do you know who caused this in the first place.

That'll depend on you. Think of it like flushing something bad outta your system. Won't take too long either way and you can stop drinking it once you remember everything.

[Be that sooner or later, but probably sooner considering how wild this guy's healing factor was. For a second there was a lightness in her tone more typical of what one would think from a healer before her attention turned to Vergil.]

No prob, he's my friend, 'course I'm gonna help out if I know even if he's a dumbarse. And it's just "Eunie", the "miss" makes me itch.

[Said scratching behind one of her wings to demonstrate the point. Of course when his demeanor went dark she frowned and dropped the pretense of joking.]

You don't need to worry about him.

[Healing factor or no, the fact that he's lost any memories is frustrating, but at least with this, he'll have a chance at getting them back.

Eunie calls Nox a dumbass and he can't help but laugh.]

Look, okay, just because Will left you those notes- I'm not the only one who's just as reckless. [Here goes a brow raise as he looks to Vergil and motions there's also another who's just as bad as he is- Dante.] If anything, my uncle's even worse.

Just Eunie, then.

[ he's ...fine with that, he supposes, but his expression is still dire--irritated and one might even consider dangerous as the woman is telling him, in no uncertain terms, to back off. He can recognise it.
He pulls his lips back in a disconcerning grin. ]

I will worry about him until I know he's been made to pay for such injustices against those he wronged.

[ Read:i want to see him fucked up, because he fucked my son up. ]

Oh, great, another one of you. I'll have more shit to add to Will's notes.

[The fact that she was giving Nox shit again just spoke volumes to how confident she was in the tea. In no time he should be back to how he was, and she was happy about that.

As for the look Vergil gave her, she was not backing down and reflected his frown right back at him.]

He's taken care of and won't be doing this to anyone else ever again. You think we're gonna mess around with a guy like that? [We being the Order. As much as the result of what happened made her sick (and as much as how that influenced her tone) she's glad the guy's not in a position to do this to any more of her friends.]

Please, it's not like we'll try to make your time healing hell– much.

[Yeah, he can see it in how she replies to him, though honestly, he'll take any sort of positivity for this sort of deal.]

Long as you guys were okay after that. [That's what matters the most to him right now.]
