[ The video opens with a shot of a certain sparse as fuck tiny basement apartment, before the phone's owner adjusts the available options, switching from the rear camera to its front-facing counterpart. The user posting under the name 'empyrean' turns out to be a young man in his mid-to-late twenties with a pretty face, long golden yellow hair, and oddly distinctive red eyes. He hasn't yet realized they're no longer brown. ]

Is this thing on? Yes, okay. Ahem.

[ At first he's only muttering to himself, but as soon as he verifies the recording is live, he begins properly. ]

I've been doing some reading. It seems this app appears on someone's phone shortly before strange things begin to occur? I'll admit I hardly understand half of what you people are talking about; it all seems too strange to be true. But, considering I've just had my own supernatural encounter, I'm not in any place to judge.

[ Kaveh reverses the camera again, this time revealing a small green plant-like creature perched contently on his knee. It's a Budew, but he doesn't know that. ]

Can any of you explain how my roommate's plush toy just came to life? I'm not really sure what I should do about this.

Knowing him, he'll probably blame this on me somehow.

[Kat finally gets around to starting her own phone's camera, and in doing so treats Kaveh to the sight of a white-haired young woman with pink eyes. ...and an equally-pink dragon head stuck on the top of her own head like some kind of weird living hat. She keeps her eyes focused directly on her phone, while the dragon head seems to be preoccupied with staring at something else past the phone.]

Technically, the weird stuff was already happening and you just couldn't see it until now. Now that you can see it, though, you're probably going to start having some things happen directly to you instead of just around you. As far as what kind of stuff, honestly, you should probably expect anything.

I only recently got drawn back into all of this nonsense myself, but eh, figured I should do or say what I can with what I've been able to remember so far.

And at least some of the stuff is pretty tame, like just changes to your hair or eye color. Regardless of what happens, most people won't even see it, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about trying to explain anything unless instead of not seeing it, they see something else instead.

As far as eye color goes, if anyone not on this app can see it, they'll probably think it's just contacts, so they probably won't think too much of it. You might get someone asking when or why you decided to start wearing them, though, so you might want to make up a little story for that.

[Kat herself hasn't been questioned about her own eyes, or her hair for that matter, so she's pretty sure that most people see hers as still being their original colors.]
