Date Night

WHO: Yuri and Caesar
WHERE: A certain restaurant
WHEN: February 13th, evening
WHAT: After Yuri asked out Caesar, they've decided to have a nice first date out.
WARNINGS: None, I don't think, but I'll edit with warnings if they come up!

[Oh, Yuri's got the nervous excitement of someone who is about to go on their very first date. He goes for something comfortable, yet nice to wear. There isn't much he can do about his wolf ears or wolf tail, but Yuri does, at least, make sure that the fur looks soft and glossy. They're a permanent part of him, now, so he might as well ensure they're taken care of as part of his look.

He's a little early, so Yuri gets a table for them. While he's waiting, he looks over the menu to get familiar with what Houlihan's has to offer.

Plus it's a great way to keep the nerves at bay!]

[Caesar'd spent considerable time agonizing over what to wear, but eventually settled on a light pink blazer over a white shirt with the nicest pair of jeans he owns. Nice enough for a date, but not overdoing it. He hopes. It's been some time since he's dressed up for a date.

He also gets it into his head to arrive a little early--so he turns up a little bit after Yuri does. It doesn't take him long to spot Yuri, so he quickly moves towards the table and smiles as he takes a seat.]

Good evening, Yuri. I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long?

[Yuri perks up when he sees Caesar, returning the smile easily. It's almost not fair how good pink looks on the blond man.]

Oh, not at all. I got here a little early.

[He sets his menu down for the moment.]

You look fantastic in pink, I must say.

[The smile turns a touch sheepish at the compliment.]

Thank you. I've always been fond of pastels, so...

[Anyway.]

You look wonderful, by the way.

[His tail is definitely gently wagging against the chair, which he's doing his best to ignore.]

Aw, thank you.

[Yuri brushes strands of purple hair behind his ear.]

Do you have any recommendations on what to get? I'll admit, this is my first time here.

Well, you certainly can't go wrong with the steak, but I enjoy the grilled salmon and the seared scallops, too.

All three sound like very good options. Though, I'm feeling a bit more intrigued by the steak.

[If only so that his breath doesn't suffer from fish smell.]

It's pretty pricey but definitely worth it.
