[Leave it to everyone else to make sure Nox remains oblivious as this entire date is set up between him and Mercedes. He's completely in the dark, thinking Yuri's invited him to a hangout at the park to show him something instead.

So, cue one clueless gym teacher entering the park and searching for a familiar face, aaaand not really finding any. Nox moves to stand under one of the trees by the path and brings out his phone, not expecting to see Mercedes, or really anyone besides his friend.

[Quite a few people came together to make this possible, and good thing, too - odds are they'd still be just lightly teasing one another online for months otherwise... Mercedes has been armed with fashion advice and has experimented with a bolder makeup look than she usually does.

There, under the tree, that's the familiar face (she wasn't just looking at his abs) she's looking for. So she'll just...walk lightly, and see if she can stand next to him while he's busy with his phone.]

[See, the thing is, Nox has basically been teased about this for the whole month, and he's only tsun'd harder for it as a result. Lately it's been quiet, so he hasn't noticed the nefarious planning on his behalf.

So when he has someone come close, he minds his own business until he hears the question, answering before looking up.]

It shows easy enough in how his face goes red at the statement, the poor boy turning his head at that to not meet her eyes and almost choking on his own spit. His heart is lodged in his throat and he feels like if he tries to say anything in return he's gonna sound like a fucking idiot.

Congratulations to Mercedes, she has made the man go full-blown tsundere in a matter of minutes. Thankfully, her next question is easier to answer than what was said previously.]
