Goood evening, Kaisou! Well almost. [it's going on four and the sun is starting to set, but Stede wants to look his best in his white fluffy coat and white shirt and white trousers and white sunglasses with rhinestones glittering at the corners and the handle of a rhinestone studded leash]
I'm back in town. How did everyone's holidays go? Mine were fantastic! Couldn't ask for better. [it's a lie but no one needs to know that]
Anyone have any rocking New Year's party plans? I've been looking for a bit of a shindig to really cut loose. Woah!
[there's a low grunt and he's pulled staggering a few feet]
No, no. We don't chase after cars! Behave, M!
[and then back at the camera]
Does anyone know of any good vets in the area? I want to give little M a checkup! [and he turns the camera to show a, familiar to some, large brown bear with a studded glittering collar] I know he looks frightening, but he's a sweetie really.
I think it's a he.
Could be a she.
Hard to tell with all that fur, isn't it?

And yes, oh I remember that! Saw it on a nature documentary once. I suppose I could have some fish sent up.
Oh and maybe look into getting a bear sitter for when I want a night on the town. [a sly smile] You wouldn't happen to be looking for part time work would you? $50 dollars an hour?

Ah, thanks but no thanks. I get enough sitter work being a full-time high school teacher. Don't think I wanna try it with a bear in my off hours.
