[Wherever you are, your phone will start to ring and vibrate. It doesn’t matter if your phone was off or on mute - it will ring anyway. If you didn’t have a phone? You’ll have found one that has been delivered to your current location with a sticky note attached with your name on it.

The ringing will continue until you check your phone. The entire screen has been locked to a new app that downloaded: Libra. It looks like a social media app, even though you’ve never heard of it before. Worst yet, there seems to be no closing this app until you read and respond to the message displayed]

There’s a lot to talk about, but we don’t want to pile too much on you! Instead, let's start things off with a little icebreaker! It’s a little late, but we hope it's still relevant!

Well, you said you had two jobs. I guess the natural follow-up is asking what kinds of jobs they are.

If you’re simply asking, yes. But if we’re playing games, it’s boring.

1. I’m a single mother.
2. I’m a DEA agent.
3. I’m a federal judge.

I figured I'd leave it up to you to set the rules of how this would work, since you were the one who suggested the merger.

Let's see, though, it's like two truths and a lie, right? Hmm...

I'm going to guess that you being a judge is a lie. Can't put my finger on why, but somehow you just don't seem the type?

It’s what I wanted as a child. My degree is in Criminal Justice, but by the time I was old enough I realized my time putting people where they should be wouldn’t do behind a chair.

There’s never a boring day when you’re on a hunt. Good shot :)

I can imagine that'd be a lot more exciting than court proceedings!

I haven't really decided on a major, myself... just kind of getting all of my gen eds out of the way first.

But that means you are a single mom, then, right? What's your kid like?

I have three boys, two of which have paws. Lilith, on the other hand, is six months old.

Haha, no... just feeling things out and deciding where I want to go from here, that's all. Nothing exciting, I'm sorry to say.

It's really cool that you knew what you wanted since you were a kid and went for it, though! Even if the path you wound up on diverged a little bit, I think it's great that you stuck to it.

Oh, that so? What kind of paws? My family has a dog - big old husky named Badeux - but I love all kinds of animals.

And aww, she's(?) still so young! I'm a long way off from kids, myself, but I imagine it's got to be... I don't know, magical, in a way.

It’s a popular breed in this town! Both Sorbet and Mousse are huskies.

And little Lilith is a boy. Starting a family was another dream of mine, and call me impatient, I suppose. I didn’t want to keep waiting for a partner I may never meet in my lifetime. There was no better time than now.

What cute names! My dad actually lives a couple states away, I'm just here for college... but I do love huskies, so I won't complain about them being popular here!

I see! That's what I get for assuming, haha. But that's fair enough. You felt ready for the responsibility, so why wait?

Me, I haven't even figured myself out. I feel like I ought to at least figure out that much before I'm responsible for another person's life, you know? But you seem to be pretty together, so I imagine Lilith's got a good life ahead of him.

Thank you. You’re still young, you know. I’ve always found it stressful for the later generations, feeling so rushed to discover themselves because of the way our society works. I was lucky to be drawn to something since young, even if the source behind it was unfortunate for my family.

There’s a give and take, always, but I’d still respect your time and feel for things at your pace, if you have the chance to. Is there a major that draws you?

Haha... no, unfortunately. I keep trying things out in the hopes something will speak to me, but so far nothing's really stuck.

There has to be something, right? I just have to keep looking.

[And that's really all he wants to say on the matter. Even this much is a little uncomfortable.

Look at how successful she is. You had everything handed to you and you still can't even do this much in return.
