I think I've got this so it will send this to anyone using Libra...My name is Rhel Fashonti, late of Eorzea, for those of who I haven't yet met. I have a question or two that I am hoping someone here can answer. I did use the...Gubal? No, that's in Drav--the Google, but the answers it gave me are a bit unbelievable.

[She actually pulls out a notepad she'd gotten to write down some of this stuff because it is just absolutely bonkers to her what Google said.]

Is it truly only Hyurs--humans--here? Nothing else at all? And most are not capable of magic? Does this world truly lack any form of aether? You've discovered every ilm of your star, save for the lowest depths of the sea? [Flipping to the next page...] Some of these aren't terribly important, they can wait...ah! Yes.

Is your moon truly just a giant lump of rock in the sky? And you're certain?

Considering how people keep getting pulled in from other worlds, something is wrong, and I imagine that eventually we'll be called to fix it, because when is that ever not the case?

I personally suspect it's a little bit of both, with a high likelihood of a deity being involved somewhere in the process, because there's always a deity involved in some way or another.

Unfortunately. The number of "deities" [yes with air quotes] I have had to beat over the head, some more than once...

"Deities" [and yep, there the air quotes are] are certainly a problem, but likely not the case here. They're unsubtle and would have outed themselves already, either on purpose as a matter of drama or accidentally because hiding that level of power is difficult once you start using it for things.

Not that actual gods are usually that subtle, so much as being better at making themselves hard to hit.

Usually a desire to lord over others, though sometimes there's a genuine desire to help that has a major flaw in the plan, like it being the result of a mental breakdown or the refusal to take criticism on a plan that would affect the entire world.
