Into the Unknown
WHO: Gravelord Nito and any poor soul who wanders into his path
WHERE: his labyrinth or the park
WHEN: now. right now
WHAT: Literal Death is here now, and completely unprepared for everything that entails
WARNINGS: Nito's a walking mild body horror warning, possible discussion of death
The Labyrinth - Catacombs
[Nito wakes to distant sunlight filtering down from somewhere far above.
He is not where he was; the Lord of Sunlight's power had never reached far down enough to touch Nito's resting place. Old memories of the space would indicate these were the catacombs above, and yet it lacked any sense of his touch.
The disquiet that notion brings is enough to have the Gravelord struggle out of the too-large pile of bones that he had kept close for an age and more, though he dislikes the thought of leaving them - diminished as he seems to have become, he can no longer keep them close. He bids them all a silent farewell and a wish that none will disturb their rest, and begins what is sure to be a long journey.
After all, if something is wrong, answers will lie upward.]
The Park
[Some time later, Nito has found himself in Kaisou's largest park, now in possession of a strange, shiny box (a "cellular phone" the booklet he found next to it calls it) and a thousand more questions than he began with, and absolutely none of them answered.
And so, sitting in some quiet corner of that park, Nito stares blankly at the cell phone manual, realizing that for the first time in a long, long time, he is well and truly out of his depth.]

I could've sworn I replied to this days ago aldksfh;ak
After a tense moment to consider the oddity of the situation - that appears to be a human, and those normally require a ledge to fall from - he allows his arm to lower a little, demeanor and taking on something more akin to cautious curiosity.]
...Are you well? To my knowledge, the sky is no place for humans.
No worries!
The human part is debatable for me these days.
[In the shadow of the trees the green glow in his eyes and the faint silvery luminescence he cast off was more than obvious. ]
But I'm fine. I'm starting to get used to it.

[A pause to resettle, not quite relaxed, but not hostile.]
...Are you a resident of this world, or at least passing familiar?
no subject
[And that draws a small smile. He wasn't sure how much he believed it, but he appreciated the sentiment. The last few months had left him with a lot of doubts. About a lot of things.]
